Fluffball dog grooming is a small family run business established in 2015 by Cheryl.   Upstairs on the precinct we have our pet supply shop run by Aiden. We stock a range of food including raw , prepackaged and natural treats, toys, beds, collar and lead sets for dogs, cats and small animals. All animals are welcome in the shop. Downstairs cheryl runs the grooming salon she only has one dog in for grooming at a time working on a one to one basis with your dog so it gets her full attention. Because she works this way we have no cages which means less stress for your beloved pooch and a much happier grooming process.  We specialize in nervous/ anxious dogs, dogs with fear aggression, large breeds and double coated breeds. XL BULLYS are still welcome in both the salon and shop.

DEPOSITS.
All appointments booked require a minimum price deposit due to repeated no shows and short notice cancellations. the deposit is refundable up to 48  hours before your appointment,  after that it becomes none refundable. the deposit prices are;

Flexible prices; these prices are set at the minimum price for the service selected, this means you may need to pay extra on collection of your dog.
Full groom £35.
Bath and tidy £30.
Bath and brush £25.
Bath and deshed £35.

Fixed prices; these prices are set at the exact price for the service.
Nails;
Small dog £5. Dogs under staffy size. 
Large dogs and cats £10. Dogs between staffy and american bulldog size.
Giant dogs. £15. Dogs over american bulldog size.
gland expression £10
Ear cleaning £10 

Cancellations or changes with less than 48 hours notice of your appointment will be classed as a missed appointments and will result in charges.
Time is reserved for your dog and can not always be filled at short notice. 

MISSED APPOINTMENTS WILL BE CHARGED FOR AT YOUR USUAL GROOM PRICE IT WILL NEED TO BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT IS OFFERED.
DOGS ARRIVING MORE THAN 15 MINS LATE FOR THEIR APPOINTMENT, WILL BE CLASSED AS NO SHOWS, THEY WILL NEED TO BE REBOOKED AND THE CANCELLATION FEE WILL BE REQUIRED.

AGRESSIVE DOGS.
Dogs that are aggressive and require extra time, staff and/or a muzzle, will be charged at a higher rate than normal, this could be double, or in extreme cases triple the normal groom rate. THE CHARGES FOR THIS ARE BETWEEN £25 TO £45 AN HOUR DEPENDING ON SEVERITY, WE ONLY CHARGE FOR THE TIME YOUR DOG REQUIRES TO BE GROOMED, NOT THE LENTH OF THE APPOINTMENT.

We reserve the right to refuse/halt a groom at any point on any dog that presents too high a risk of injuring itself or our staff, the appointment will still need to be paid for. 

IN CASES WHERE WE HAVE NOT BEEN WARNED, AND A DOG BITES US. PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE APPOINTMENT PLACED ON OUR BANNED LIST AND REPORTED TO THE POLICE.


CLEANING CHARGE.

We here at fluffball’s understand better than most that grooming can cause anxiety, and this can cause a dog to soil in the salon. 

But we have noticed a rise in the number of dogs, that are not being walked before their appointment, that are then repeatedly defecating inside the salon area.

WE WILL BE ENFORCING A CLEANING CHARGE OF £15 ON ANYONE WHO'S DOG REPEATEDLY OR EXCESSIVELY SOILS THE SALON WITH ANY BODILY FLUIDS.


FLEA CHARGE.

Please note any dog presented with fleas will incur an extra charge of £10 per dog. This is to cover the cost of flea bombing the shop to stop cross contamination.

We reserve the right to refuse to groom severely flea infested or dogs that are repeatedly presented with fleas, and you will be required to pay for the appointment.


DEMATTING CHARGES.

Our normal grooming price does not include de-matting, our charge for this is £5 per 5 mins. Anything that will take longer than 15 mins to de-matt will be clipped off every time. 

WE WILL NOT DEMAT ANY ELDERLY, INFIRM OR AGGRESSIVE DOGS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

WE GROOM HUMANELY, IN CASES OF SEVERE MATTING WE WILL ALWAYS CLIP OFF.  THIS CAN BE CHARGD AT ANYTHING UP TO TRIPLE THE NORMAL GROOM PRICE. 


LATE COLLECTIONS.

Dogs know when their groom is complete and are eager to get home.
 
We may charge a late fee for late pickups; this is £5 per 15 minutes. 

PLEASE BE ON TIME FOR COLLECTION AS YOUR DOG MAY BECOME ANXIOUS WHILE WAITING FOR YOU, WE ALSO NEED THE SPACE FOR OTHER CLIENTS.

I paid £35 to have a full groom and then was charged an extra £35 when I picked her up as she needed deshedding (which I told them when I booked her in) and was hardwork. Don’t get me wrong they did a great job but £70 is a lot of money! Especially when we weren’t aware until she was picked up.

I can't fault them they go above and beyond to help keep Rosie relaxed as posible 100 per cent trust Fluffball Dog Grooming regards Ann.

I can't thank Cheryl enough, she showed amazing patience and did an absolutely wonderful job on Lucy, our Cocker Spaniel.  We'll be regular visitors now if they'll have us back 😁

It was Bettys first time at fluffball and cheryl spoke to her gentle and gave her time to adapt a little to new surroundings which she gets nervous about,betty was fine i was so pleased with the way she was groomed were definately returning again, thanks cheryl

Really good groomers,  Rex smells gorgeous. Friendly and respectable. I would not change at all. I have always been with the groomers for some time.    They always let me know when he's ready to be picked up. I cannot fault them and not had a bad experience with them. They are awesome.

First time taking our 3-year-old Lakeland Terrier to a groomer and we were nervous because he is such an anxious dog. They gave us a free hour to meet him and took extra time settling him on the day. So patient, kind & caring, and he looked great and left happy. We were really impressed and would highly recommend them. True dog lovers, Thank you! 

I have used cheryl for about 7 years now. She grooms both my very nervous romainian rescue willow and my completely bonkers Yorkshire terrier X freddie. I wouldn't use anyone else. She is great and very reasonable prices.
