Release and Waiver of Liability Agreement

This Release and Waiver of Liability (“Agreement”) is entered into by the undersigned (“Participant”) in favor of Massa Stables LLC, its owners, employees, agents, representatives, volunteers, affiliates, successors, and assigns (collectively, “Released Parties”).

1. Acknowledgment of Risk
Participant acknowledges that activities involving horses, livestock, and farm equipment are inherently dangerous and may result in injury, death, or property damage. These risks include, but are not limited to, being bitten, kicked, stepped on, thrown, or otherwise injured by animals, as well as risks associated with the use and presence of farm equipment and machinery.

2. Release of Liability
Participant voluntarily assumes all risks associated with these activities and hereby releases and holds harmless the Released Parties from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by Participant or any property belonging to Participant, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise.

3. Indemnification
Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities, including attorney’s fees, brought as a result of Participant’s involvement in activities at Massa Stables LLC and to reimburse the Released Parties for any such expenses incurred.

4. Medical Treatment
Participant releases and discharges the Released Parties from any claim that arises or may arise due to any first aid, medical treatment, or service rendered in connection with Participant’s involvement in activities at Massa Stables LLC.

5. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois.

6. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

By accepting below, Participant acknowledges that they have read and understood this Agreement, and voluntarily agree to its terms.

Through expert instruction, individualized goals, and a focus on horsemanship fundamentals, we empower our students to become confident, capable, and compassionate riders.

Reschedules/cancellations must be within 24hrs or you will be charged. We accept CASH ONLY if online payment is not made. Payment is DUE AT YOUR APPOINTMENT, you are welcome to prepay for scheduled appointments via our online booking. If you have booked a service that requires payment up front at time of booking you have until 8pm the day of scheduling to pay your appointment balance in full or your appointment will be canceled. Services that require full up front payment include photoshoots, farm visits, unicorn visits, team building workshops & mini cow experiences.

Lucy & Kira are absolutely fantastic, they are patient and kind.  The horses are very well trained and taken care of! We had a wonderful experience!

Our daughter has always had a love and passion for all animals, but specifically horses. We are extremely grateful to Massa Stables. They have given our daughter continued education and confidence that are unmatched. 

Kira was great! She got into the weeds of the barrel turns with reins, legs and spur use. Lots of repetition which is helpful for muscle memory. 

The instructor was wonderfully kind, the stable barn is very nice and the horses all look happy and well loved.  The instructor was clear and I feel like my student learned a lot already. We liked it and will be back. 

We took our daughter, 6 years old, for a 1st riding lesson for her birthday. She loved it. The instructor was great, the horse was sweet, and my daughter wants to continue doing lessons. Thank you Massa Stables

My daughter loves coming to lessons at Massa Stables. Kira is so patient and kind. The overall atmosphere is so positive and inviting we never want to leave. 

We were visiting from out of town and wanted a couple of lessons. The instructor was great working with my daughter on posting. Beautiful farm and horses. Will definitely take lessons again when we are back in town!

My sister and I took a trail rider with Kyra on a beautiful Sunday morning and it couldn't have gone better.  The horses were well mannered and Kyra was a delight.

I truly enjoyed the trail ride I had today.  The horse was gentle riding.  And the sweet girl that took me was very pleasant and helpful with my getting on and off the mount.  Perhaps I can do another ride again soon.

We brought our daughter for the mini highland experience with Waylon as a birthday gift and it was wonderful in every way - from the warm welcome, to the time with the animals, and the bonus of learning so much about all of them it made for priceless memories all around! Highly recommend.

We just finished our very first lesson at Massa Stables, and wow  we were absolutely blown away! Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and professional. The staff made us feel comfortable right away, and their horses are some of the sweetest and most gentle we’ve ever met. My boys and I loved every minute of it and can’t wait to come back each week! Highly recommend Massa Stables to anyone looking for a wonderful riding experience.

Our granddaughter, Carly, had her first riding lesson today with Kira and absolutely loved it!  Kira was very patient with Carly and taught her so much.  Carly is already looking forward to her next lesson!

Lucy is a great teacher, she makes sure to be informative which helps me understand a lot. She knows her stuff and I definitely recommend going to her!

We enjoyed spending time at the Massa stables.  We got to be hands on with the animals.  Bianca was very nice. She answered any questions that we had. All the photos thar she took for us were perfect. I will visit again. I recommend it as a good place to visit. 

Our girl loves going there for riding lessons! The online scheduling has been nice. Any horse she has been on has been great. The instructors have been good at working with her and directing her to be a better rider. She’s always ready for her next lesson! 

Booked my kids first riding lesson here and it was amazing! The girls were GREAT with my children and made them feel so welcomed. Ansley just finished her first lesson yesterday!   Everyone there are top notch, as well as the horses!  Bianca is super easy to talk to as well as Kira and Lucy. We just had our first lesson and my daughter LOVED the experience. Her instructor, Lucy, was kind and patient. My daughter had a blast learning to steer her horse by guiding him to kick the ball around. We already have more lessons scheduled!

We love Massa! My daughter has been getting horse lessons for 2 years. They always look out for her safety as well as the horses. 

Lucy is the best. I've taken lessons with 3-4 instructors in the past but I never picked up much until I started working with Lucy. She doesn't take my excuses, it's just do it. She matches my energy in a lesson and I end up having a ton of fun and it helps keep things relaxed. I'm truly grateful to have met such an amazing instructor. 

Lucy is great.  They work with you and scheduling times that are conducive to your schedule.  

This was the third summer that the girls have had horseback riding lessons with Lucy. They have gained skills, confidence and appreciation for the horses. Lucy does an amazing job with each student and I would highly recommend her and Massa Stables.

I took my granddaughter for a farm visit and she absolutely loved it!!  She wants to go back so she can ride the horses next time.  Bianca is so nice and took her time explaining things to us and allowing my granddaughter to be hands on with helping feed the animals and petting them.  Such a great experience for her! 

I was really impressed with the facility and the instructor, Lucy did a wonderful job with my grandson Leo, enough to where he eats to go back again.
  And the horse, Skippy, did an awesome job and well trained for such occasion.

A beautiful trail ride on wonderful horses!

We’ve had an excellent and comfortable experience since my teenage daughter started one year ago. These folks are the real deal - no air of arrogance - they are thorough and strong. Always willing to answer our questions while learning the lifestyle, sport and stewardship of being around horses. 

She had a blast.  She was so excited before she even got on the horse and Lucy went above and beyond making the lesson fun for her.  When she got home she was still talking about it. Thanks

Every lesson and every interaction is a positive one! They are the best out there!

I recommend Massa  especially for new riders, young or old.  Lucy seems to know just how much to ask of her students.  She always has something fun and new to do, whether it's an obstacle course or a new pattern, there is a challenge for the day.  She is a natural with horses and teaches me about training. Bianca has  a variety of horses to learn from.  They both, diagnose riding issues well, push the rider to do their best and are knowledgeable .  They truly care about the horses and riders. 

Our 15 yr old has been taking lessons for almost 4 years and still looks forward to it every week.  Wonderful facility, excellent owners, and Lucy, her instructor, is the absolute best.  We love this place!

We have had a fantastic experience taking riding lessons with Lucy.She is a very patient and knowledgeable instructor, making each lesson both fun and informative. The horses are well-behaved and well-cared for, which makes my son feel safe and comfortable. I've seen a noticeable improvement in his riding skills and he is more confident in his ability to handle horses. I highly recommend!

We have been taking lessons for several months now. Lucy is an amazing instructor, both patient and knowledgeable and Massa is a beautiful facility we look forward to visiting for years to come!

My daughter is in lessons here. And loves it. I really have no complaints. She's learned alot. And really likes Lucy her teacher. Scheduling is pretty easy we are able to hold our slot and reschedule when needed. And pricing is reasonable. 

My daughter started riding at Massa Stables about 4 years ago and absolutely loves it. She has gained so much confidence in herself and we’ve watched it carry over into other sports as well. Bianca and Lucy are incredible. Lucy is extremely patient and makes sure you fully understand what you’re trying to do, I’ve been taking lessons since may and have enjoyed every bit of it! They have so many different options from lessons, trail rides, photos, to hanging out and grooming the mini bull Waylon. Lessons are extremely affordable and so much fun. The barn and arena are very well maintained. It’s definitely a 10/10 experience. 

My kids loved horseback riding & getting to hang out with Waylon! Massa Stables were great to work with! My kids rode today and before they left the driveway were asking when they get to go back !

Lucy is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and has made my daughter feel very comfortable. The horses are well cared for and my daughter is building confidence. It is the perfect mix of learning and fun. We highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to take lessons!
