You can feel comfortable leaving your furry loved one in my care. I provide a one on one service in a calm, clean and comfortable atmosphere where your loved ones will be treated as if they are my own. 

Love Handle Grooming

At Love Handle Grooming I work one on one with each pet and they are not in a kennel at any point. I require pets to be picked up within 15 minutes of being finished as other clients are scheduled directly afterwards. Generally small dogs will take 1 hour, medium dogs 1.5 hours, and large dogs 2 hours. A block of time will be set aside pertaining to each size should more time be required due to special handling an additional appointment will need to be rescheduled. If you are unable to pick up your pet at the time they are finished, please call me to discuss ahead of time. Special arrangements can be made for longer hold times. 
Matting:
Matting is a condition of your dogs fur that is caused by dense tangles and knots. It is painful condition that can lead to other health concerns such as infections, skin irritations, sores, cut off circulation to your dog skin and can cause hematoma. Tight mats are not able to be brushed out and will have to be shaved before the bath. The matting will result in an extra charge as this process is hard on your pet, grooming equipment and takes extra time.
Double Coated Shave:
Shaving a double coated dog is not recommended as it can cause issues with regrowth as well as affect the health of your pet. If this is something you’d like to have done please reach out to me before the appointment and I will send more information.  
Current Vaccinations:
Vaccinations are recommend and your pet should be up-to-date on rabies, distemper, and bordetella. If you know your pet is a bite risk vaccinations are required.

Having our two small dogs groomed at Love Handle Grooming was wonderful. The facilities are clean, the groomer was very friendly and professional and our dogs looked lovely when I picked them up. 

Our livestock guardian had a great experience getting bathed and groomed. It was her first time at a grooming salon and Amy was very patient with her. Our dog turned out fantastic as well.

This was a first for my Marzipan. Mars is a rescue and is quite anxious with new experiences etc. I booked in for a nail and paw trim. What a great intro to a new experience. Overall 10/10. We felt very welcome and I’m just so happy Marsy did so well!

Amy was wonderful with my VERY large 3 year old German Shepherd. He is a bit nervous when being groomed, but when I picked him up, he was happy and calm, and looked amazing!  He also smelled MUCH better than when I dropped him off.
