📅 Loc’d Kouture Updated Booking Policy (Effective 11/1/2025)

Booking: 
-All appointments must be booked via the website. No text or phone call bookings will be accepted. No deposit, no appointment.

New / Transfer Clients: 
-Must book a consultation before booking a service. Services may be scheduled the same day if available. If services are booked without a consultation, a consultation fee will be added to your balance.

Deposits:
-Standard services: $20 deposit at the time of booking.
-Starter Locs: $50 deposit.
-Starter Microlocs: $100 per day deposit.
-Deposits are non-refundable.

Cancellations / No-Shows:
-Same-day cancellation fee: $50. -Appointments will be blocked until the fee is paid.
-No-shows will no longer be able to book.
-If you reschedule using the provided link, your deposit will automatically transfer to the new appointment.

Late Fees:
-Arriving 15 minutes late will result in a $25 late fee.
-Arriving 30 minutes late or more will require rescheduling.

VIP & Special Appointments:
-Sunday & Monday VIP appointments: $100 (by request, if available).
-Before/after hours appointments: $75 (by request, if available).
-Squeeze-in appointments: $50 (if available).

Guests: No extra guests allowed during appointments.

Microloc Transfer Clients:
-Now being accepted.
-Must book a consultation first.
-If accepted as a Loc’d Kouture client, a transfer fee will apply, starting at $250, and will be discussed during the consultation.
-Microloc transfer services begin January 2026.

Excessive New Growth: 
-Clients with excessive new growth may incur an additional service fee.

I recently moved to the area from Los Angeles and was very anxious about finding someone to do my hair.  As luck would have it, I saw Mindy's work on social media so I reached out. Not only did she take her time detoxing my locs, but she treated them with the most gentle touch. She is very skilled and very swift. But most important, she didn't try to interloc my hair to the point of making my head sore. I greatly appreciated that. I can safely say my hair will be in good hands!

She’s always quick and professional when doing my locs and gives great conversation! It’s an experience in the shop and it keeps me coming back! Overly grateful for the work and companionship offered with the Kouture journey!
