Thank you for your interest in Loc'd Kouture, my name is Mindy. I provide services that enhance your Natural Beauty with the care and maintenance of Locs of all textures, types, sizes, and lengths.

Policy and Terms

📅 Loc’d Kouture Updated Booking Policy (Effective 11/1/2025) Booking: -All appointments must be booked via the website. No text or phone call bookings will be accepted. No deposit, no appointment. New / Transfer Clients: -Must book a consultation before booking a service. Services may be scheduled the same day if available. If services are booked without a consultation, a consultation fee will be added to your balance. Deposits: -Standard services: $20 deposit at the time of booking. -Starter Locs: $50 deposit. -Starter Microlocs: $100 per day deposit. -Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations / No-Shows: -Same-day cancellation fee: $50. -Appointments will be blocked until the fee is paid. -No-shows will no longer be able to book. -If you reschedule using the provided link, your deposit will automatically transfer to the new appointment. Late Fees: -Arriving 15 minutes late will result in a $25 late fee. -Arriving 30 minutes late or more will require rescheduling. VIP & Special Appointments: -Sunday & Monday VIP appointments: $100 (by request, if available). -Before/after hours appointments: $75 (by request, if available). -Squeeze-in appointments: $50 (if available). Guests: No extra guests allowed during appointments. Microloc Transfer Clients: -Now being accepted. -Must book a consultation first. -If accepted as a Loc’d Kouture client, a transfer fee will apply, starting at $250, and will be discussed during the consultation. -Microloc transfer services begin January 2026. Consultation for any starter locs or new clients

This consultation helps me assess your hair, discuss your loc goals, and determine the best method for starting or maintaining your locs. -New loc clients are those looking to start their Loc Journey. For clients to have a successful consultation, I ask that your hair be in a loose, free state (not braided, twisted, or tightly styled). This allows me to properly assess your entire head and give you the most accurate quote and recommendations for your loc journey. -Transfer clients are those who already have locs started or maintained by another loctician and are looking to continue their loc journey with Loc’d Kouture.

Starter Locs Coils

Begin your loc journey with the coil method, creating smooth, defined coils that naturally form into locs as they mature. Includes scalp cleanse, installation, and starter loc care guidance.

Starter Locs Two Strand Twist

Hightop Starter Locs

Hightop Starter Two Strand Twist Locs

Begin your high top loc journey with two-strand twists to create a neat, uniform foundation on the crown while the sides and back remain tapered or faded. This starter service includes deep cleansing shampoo, installation, and starter loc care guidance to ensure healthy, well-maintained locs as they mature.

Retwist (no style)

Includes a deep cleansing shampoo and retwist for clients with ½–1 inch of new growth. Please note: There will be an additional charge for new growth over 1 inch or matting of locs.

Loose Natural Two-Strand Twist Styling (Men & Women)

Includes a deep cleansing shampoo and full blowout to retain hair length, followed by loose two-strand twists that add definition and texture without fully locking your hair. Perfect for a protective, versatile style for both men and women.
