Wear clothing that allows ease of movement and easily removable shoes. For the best results, please arrive with clean, makeup-free skin, particularly avoiding mascara. Don’t worry if you don’t have time to remove makeup—your lashes and brows will be professionally cleansed at the start of your appointment to ensure optimal retention and results. Children & Guests:
To maintain a calm and safe environment, I ask that you do not bring children or extra guests to your appointment unless organised with myself 24 hours before the appointment. The studio contains professional tools and products that may pose a risk to children unattended. If you are unable to arrange childcare, please reschedule your appointment. Comfort & Special Requests:
Your comfort is my number 1 priority. Please bring anything you need to feel at ease during your appointment, such as pillows, blankets, or other personal items. If you have special requests or concerns, kindly inform me at least 24 hours in advance so I can ensure your experience is tailored perfectly to you. Luxury Experience Protocol:
To fully immerse yourself in the HAUS OF VELVET experience, shoes recommend to be removed upon entering the treatment area. Disposable sanitary wipes/ sanitiser and storage for personal belongings are provided for your convenience. Brow Services:
All brow treatments begin with a warm towel to relax and open pores and conclude with a cold towel to soothe the area and minimize redness and inflammation. Arrival & Punctuality:
Please arrive on time to ensure the full duration of your service. If you are 15 minutes late or more the appointment will be cancelled and your deposit will not be refunded, each appointment is allocated a set amount of time and cannot be rushed or extended into other appointments, as my priority is maintaining the highest standard of quality. Caffeine & Energy Drinks: To ensure the best possible results for your lash appointment I kindly ask that clients avoid consuming energy drinks, pre-workout, or excessive caffeine (especially coffee) at least 3–4 hours prior to your appointment. Caffeine and stimulants can cause eye fluttering and sensitivity, which may affect the precision and retention of your lash extensions. If you require a morning coffee, I recommend keeping it minimal and finishing it several hours before your scheduled appointment time. Health & Safety:
If you currently have eyelash extensions from another technician or have experienced lash damage, a removal must be added to the appointment and all previous extensions must be removed before we begin your lash set. This ensures a safe, high-quality service with optimal results. Please inform me of any allergies, eye conditions, or sensitivities before your appointment. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:
I require at least 24–48 hours notice for cancellations or reschedules. Cancellations less then 24 hours are not acceptable and your deposit will not be refunded. This policy allows me to provide timely service to all clients. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 24 hours before your appointment and you will receive your deposit in full refund. No shows with no contact will result in a fee of 50% of your original appointment that will be added to your next appointment as the spot cannot be filled. Post-Appointment Care:
For optimal results and longevity of your lashes or brows, please follow my aftercare guidance, including avoiding touching, rubbing, picking, or using oil-based products on treated areas. Refill schedules and care instructions will be provided at the end of your service. Payment Policy:
Full payment is required at the time of service. I accept Visa, Mastercard, EFTPOS, Apple Pay, Google Pay, cash, and Afterpay. Deposits are required before every appointment to secure your appointments. If you cannot pay the full amount of your service at the end of the your appointment your license details will be written down and you will have 24 hours to settle the full Payment. If the payment is not settled in 24 hours further action will be taken. Outstanding balances must be settled before future booking. Refund Policy:
Due to the personalized and hygienic nature of my services, I do not offer refunds once a service is performed. However, I am happy to discuss any concerns within 24 hours from your appointment and offer corrections or adjustments where appropriate. If you experience significant lash loss within 3 days of your appointment, please contact me before the 3-day mark. I will happily provide a free touch-up to ensure your set looks perfect. Photography & Social Media:
With your permission photos & videos may be taken of your service for marketing or social media purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform me prior to or at the start of your appointment.
