1. Booking Deposit
	•	A non-refundable booking deposit of $50 or $100 stated upon booking is required to secure all cosmetic tattoo or facial appointments.
	•	The deposit is deducted from your total treatment cost on the day of your appointment.
	•	Deposits are required because a long, specialised appointment time is reserved exclusively for you.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

2.1 Notice Period
	•	A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule your cosmetic tattoo appointment.
	•	Changes made within 48 hours are considered a late cancellation.

2.2 Late Cancellations / No-Shows
	•	If you cancel late or do not attend your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited as a cancellation fee.
	•	This is to cover the loss of an appointment slot that cannot be rebooked at short notice.

2.3 Rescheduling with Sufficient Notice
	•	If you provide more than 48 hours’ notice, your deposit will be transferred to your new appointment date.
	•	Only one complimentary reschedule is allowed. Further changes may require a new deposit.

3. Refund Policy

Under Australian Consumer Law, deposits may only be kept when the cancellation causes a genuine loss.

Therefore:
	•	Deposits are non-refundable for change-of-mind, late cancellations, or no-shows.
	•	Deposits are refundable if the business cancels the appointment, or if the service cannot be performed for reasons outside the client’s control (e.g., practitioner illness, studio closure).
