About

Hi, I'm Carrie. I've been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2018. I graduated from MTI in Springfield. I opened Deep Kneads on my own in 2023. I'm currently located at 960 clocktower dr Springfield IL suite E. This location is upstairs and unfortunately we don't have an elevator at this time. My specialty is mainly in deep tissue, osteopathic/therapeutic techniques. My goal is always to make you feel comfortable while helping with pain management and relief. I'm certified in hot stone, cupping, sports massage, assisted stretching, muscle scraping, trigger point release and myofascial release. I'm always extremely grateful that with continued support from every client old and new that I can do my dream job every single day! I use coconut oil for the base for all services Please let me know if alternatives are needed for you.

Policy and Terms

At Deep Kneads Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork we value your time and ours. To ensure fairness and availability for all clients, we have a cancellation policy regarding missed appointments and late cancellations. **A card must be put on file to book appointments, but won't be charged unless of no shows.** Clients can cancel 24 hours in advance at no cost to them. Clients canceling under 24 hours will be charged a fee. Clients are welcome to use that fee towards their reschedule if the appointment is made within the same month of the cancellation. Clients canceling day of or no showing your session is 100%. If last minute cancellations or no showing happen more than 2 times in 6 months we will require a deposit for your future sessions.

Hot stone massage

promotes deeper muscle relaxation through the placement of smooth, heated stones at key points on the body. The direct heat of the stones relaxes muscles, allowing the therapist access to deeper muscle layers. 80 minutes of hands on time. 5 minutes for a consultation and 5 minutes for redressing.

Cupping massage (still learning)

Still new at this so I discounted the rate. I like to add the cupping into the massage it targeted areas. This therapy helps loosen scars and fascial adhesions (soft tissue restrictions) and decompresses congestion in the myofascia. It can be used on the whole body, or isolated to specific areas of concern. The cups may be left stationary or glided along the skin. Cupping therapy may leave red or purple marks on the skin (temporarily) which are not painful. These go away, and are just a part of the cups doing their job! 80 minutes of hands on time. 5 minutes for a consultation and 5 minutes for redressing.
