Welcome to The Mucky Mutts! To ensure a safe, calm, and high-quality 1-to-1 experience for every dog, please review our salon policies: 1. Cancellations & Late Arrivals Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Because we operate strictly on a 1-to-1 basis, arriving more than 15 minutes late will result in your appointment being canceled and rescheduled so the next dog's appointment is not delayed. 2. Matting Policy In accordance with animal welfare, if a dog's coat is severely matted, dematting causes significant pain and distress. In these cases, we prioritize your dog's comfort and will humanely clip/shave the coat short. Skin irritation or redness may be revealed underneath severe mats. 3. Vaccinations & Health All dogs must be up to date on their core vaccinations. Please inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, skin sensitivities, or physical limitations prior to the appointment. 4. Behaviour & Safety Please notify us if your dog has any anxieties, behavioural triggers, or a history of biting. If a dog displays severe aggression or extreme stress, we reserve the right to stop the grooming process for the safety of both the dog and the groomer. 5. Fleas & Parasites If your dog is found to have fleas, a mandatory flea-treatment bath and salon sanitization fee will be added to your booking total. 6. Photography & Media We love showing off our freshly groomed pups! Photos or videos may be taken during the appointment for use on our website and social media channels unless you specifically request otherwise.
