Sassy Stables

Thank you for booking with Sassy Stables! We look forward to welcoming you at your scheduled appointment time. We will text you again 24 hours ahead of time to confirm your booking. You will park on the gravel pad next to the barn. If you arrive early, please enjoy the front porch swing area of the stable while you wait for the instructor to greet you.

You will want to dress appropriately for the weather, but long pants and closed toe shoes/boots are best. Shorts and sneakers are fine for warmer weather. Open toe sandals and flip flops are discouraged. We provide all riding gear and helmets. You may wish to bring a water bottle. 

Payment is expected at the time of your lesson. We can take cash, Venmo, Cashapp or Zelle for payments. We cannot take credit cards or checks. If you feel inclined to tip your instructor, please feel free to do so! 

In the event of inclement weather, we will reach out to you the day of to let you know if lessons will still take place. If it gets rained out, we will be happy to reschedule you. 

Clients can cancel or reschedule appointments up to 24 hours before start time. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours will be charged 50% booking fee.

Such a beautiful and modern barn/grounds/arena for my granddaughter to take lessons. Owner/Staff is very experienced and knowledgeable with exceptionally cared for horses.  Very clean environment.  My granddaughter can't wait to return!

We had a great experience at Sassy Stables! Our little guys (ages 4 and 5) loved the animals, from the horses to the sweet barn cat. Katelynn was so good and patient with them, explaining things and answering their questions, and Ladybug was perfect for their first experience on a horse. We all talked about our experience for the rest of the day. Sassy Stables is the perfect place to introduce little ones to horses and farm life!

Wonderful summer day visiting Sassy Stables with the grandkids. Short drive up hwy 14 from Simpsonville. The stables were clean and animals well kept. Kids loved petting, brushing and feeding the horses and rabbit. 

I took my Granddaughter, a friend, and my grandson to Sassy Stables for a farm visit and a riding lesson. All 3 kids loved it. Katelyn was very good with all the children and very knowledgeable. 
We all thoroughly enjoyed our time and will be back in the future!

It was an awesome experience!  We all enjoyed our selves and all the horses there! Would definitely recommend! We did the unicorn experience for my daughter who turned 7 today! Thanks it was an awesome experience

I took my granddaughter for the farm visit and pony ride. She loved meeting all the horses and feeding Sprinkles, the cutest bunny ever. She took a pony ride on Ladybug and had an amazing time. Thank you Kaitlyn for being so sweet and patient with us. 

My granddaughter Emily had 3 wonderful lessons with Katlyn this week.  Emily became more confident every day and loved getting to ride Prince, Luna and Sonya.  We will book lessons again on her next visit to South Carolina.  Thank you 

We had a wonderful time during our Mommie and me ride. My six yr old daughter loved her time and her ride on Ladybug :) It was the perfect mini introduction to horses and riding. 

My daughter's unicorn experience and tour of the farm animals was all that she could want and more! I would highly recommend this experience for horse and unicorn loving little girls. Thank you so much for making it such a special day for her.

Such an amazing 1st time riding experience🐴 for our 4yr old granddaughter!! Began with feeding 🥕 Sprinkles🐰 & petting 1 of the 4 🐓’s!  Kristin is awesome & makes you feel like family, so engaging! Taught her how to saddle, brush & lead Lady Bug🦄 to the ring for her lesson. Also led & fed the largest horse,  Luna, which made for an adorable photo! Finally, riding her 1st pony, so naturally & confident🤩! An incredibly memorable experience that has only just begun @ Sassy Stables!💞

My daughter, Charlotte (8), loves horses and after much research - booked lessons at Sassy Stables. What a wonderful experience - Katelynn is an absolute joy and is an exceptional teacher! Can’t wait to watch Charlotte grow in her horse riding!

We did the unicorn birthday experience for my daughter’s 5th birthday and she loved it! Well worth it!

My daughter and I experienced a great time, I love the one on one time Ms.Katelynn  was the best , I have a 2 year old  that is very shy but,Ms. Katelynn made her feel special she talk to her and made sure she was safe while riding Mr.Prince. We will return back very soon 

We loved our first lesson at Sassy Stables with Kaitlyn! She is a wonderful blend of patience and assuredness. The lessons moved along beautifully ... her knowledge and passion for what she does was so evident. The horses seem to be so well cared for and good tempered.  We are definitely continuing with lessons!  The barn and stables were also so well kept, with lots of places to sit and watch.  And we love the 2 barn cats as well... bonus!

We scheduled a 30-minute tour for two homeschool families. I assumed we’d just look at the stable and animals, but it was more than that! We had an informative and interactive experience—petting a rabbit, feeding and petting the chickens, feeding and brushing the horses, and learning about their ages, sizes, color patterns, abilities, and more. We also met the tour guide’s sweet dog and the barn cat meowing from the rafters. It was a lovely experience!

My husband and I brought our 4yr old  grandson to Sassy Stables and he had a great time. Caitlin was wonderful with him. She taught him about caring for the horses and he got to ride Lady bug and Sonia.  Thank you, we hope to come back again.

Caitlyn was so friendly and patient with  our 3 year old  granddaughter, Mila. She made Mila feel confident and so excited to do everything with Ladybug and the other horses, chickens and rabbits. It definitely felt like a one on one experience! Today was a complete pleasure !

My daughter absolutely loves Sassy Stables and all the horses.  Kristin is a great trainer with lots of knowledge and experience. She looks so forward to her weekly training sessions with Lady Bug and Kristin. 

My daughter absolutely loves coming here for her riding lessons. Everyone there is super nice and helpful. She has learned so much in such a short amount of time. Your kids will have a blast! 

My son had his first riding lesson at Sassy Stables this week and loved it. Hannah was a wonderful teacher as she helped him get comfortable around horses and learn the skills for grooming and saddling a horse. He enjoyed riding around the ring also. We definitely plan to return for more lessons! 

We came to Sassy to have a look at the space and have a trial lesson. The space is immaculate! I am so impressed at the care and attention given to the stable and the horses. My LO loved her trainer and her horse. We’re definitely going to stick with Sassy Stables!

Amazing first experience! Katelynn was fantastic working with our daughter. She was kind and patient, but did an excellent job gently pushing her out of her comfort zone to try new things. Absolutely will be back for future sessions! 

My daughter had a great time at her lesson today. I was very impressed with how she was instructed, she rode Luna, she followed instructions well… we both had a great time in a safe atmosphere. We will be returning weekly for lessons. I highly recommended Sassy Stables to anyone who has a child that is eager to learn how to ride horses. ❤️

We loved our time at Sassy Stables. We took our 4 year old and 2 year old for a pony ride and they loved it. Katelyn was incredible with our boys and the experience overall was a 10/10.

My 12-year-old daughter went to Sassy Stables Spring Break camp and loved it so much that she started weekly riding lessons.  Her teacher Katelynn is very experienced and knowledgeable.   My daughter looks forward to her lesson every week, and I enjoy staying and watching.
