Booking and Appointment Policy:
Appointments can be made via phone, email, or in-person. Same-day
appointments are subject to availability. A 50% deposit is required to
secure appointments, which is non-refundable in case of cancellation
less than 24 hours before the scheduled time. If you are 15 minutes late to
drop your dog off, the appointment will be rescheduled and a no show fee
will be charged (50% of the total cost of the groom).

Cancellation and Rescheduling:
Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or
rescheduling of appointments. Failure to provide sufficient notice may
result in a cancellation fee or forfeiture of deposit. Failure to pay any
outstanding balance will result in refusing of service.

Grooming Services:
We offer a range of grooming services including baths, haircuts, nail trims,
ear cleaning, and more. The duration and cost of services may vary
depending on the breed, size, and condition of the dog. Our experienced groomers will discuss specific grooming needs and preferences with
clients before starting the service. The Spotty Groomers is not
responsible for any irritation, abrasions, patchiness or hair loss due to
any pre existing skin conditions or as a result of the process of grooming,
thinning, de-matting or stripping. If your dog is matted upon arrival an
additional fee will be added to the cost of the groom and the desired hair
cut may not be achievable

Health and Vaccination Requirements:
All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies (where
applicable), distemper, and parvovirus. Owners must disclose any medical
conditions, allergies, or behavioral issues their dog may have prior to
grooming. If your dog has fleas, mites, lice or any other infestation, a
surcharge of €50 for will be applied to your grooming cost to cover the
cleaning and disinfecting of all equipment and the salon.
Please note: if your dog has any infestations they will be sent home and
the groom will have to be rescheduled.
If your dog displays any symptoms of illness while being groomed, the dog
will be sent home and veterinarian attention will be required before the
next visit.

Safety and Well-being:
The safety and well-being of every dog in the care of The Spotty
Groomers is our top priorities. Aggressive behavior towards groomers or
other dogs may result in termination of services. We reserve the right to
refuse service to any dog that poses a risk to our staff or other clients. If
your dog demonstrates aggressive behavior, the service will be stopped
and you will be required to collect your dog. This is done for the animals
welfare and the safety of both groomer and dog. Any and all work done up
until that point will require payment upon collection

Payment and Fees:
50% Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. We
accept cash and Revolut payments.

Liability:
While we take every precaution to ensure the safety of dogs in our care,
we cannot be held liable for any injuries, illnesses, or accidents that may
occur. Owners are responsible for the actions and behavior of their dogs
at all times while on our premises.

Photography and Social Media:
By using our services, clients grant permission for their dog’s photo to be
taken before and after grooming for promotional purposes on our
website, social media, or other marketing materials.

Changes to Terms and Conditions:
We reserve the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at
any time without prior notice. Clients will be notified of any changes via
email or posted notices in the salon. By booking an appointment with our
dog grooming salon, clients acknowledge that they have read,
understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

After a bad initial experience with a different groomer, our dog was nervous and timid but now runs into her appointments the moment Aine opens the door. It is clear the love that Aine has for all her clients and her job. She is exceptionally patient and takes it step by step while also educating owners and advising on how best to maintain your dog between appointments. The absolute best!
