Hi. My name is Karen and I am based near Carno in Powys. I am available for dog walking, drop in visits and pet sitting in and around the surrounding areas of Carno. Although I moved from Devon in 2022 I am still available for pet sitting for my regular clients in the Okehampton area in Devon, aswell as in my beautiful new home area in Powys. I am insured (details can be supplied) and references can be supplied. If you need something out of my services offered please don’t hesitate to contact me and hopefully we can come to some arrangement that suits yours and your fur babies needs. Services and prices can be viewed at the bottom of the page. When possible on overnight sits my fur baby accompanies me. This is if all fur babies and humans are happy with this. Meet and greets are carried out before all dog walking and sits take place. 45 minutes and 1 hour dog walking charges are within a 6 mile each way distance from my home. Over this a charge of 45p per mile is added on if going over the 6 miles each way. Half hour dog walking is based within a 3 mile distance each way from my home. Over this a 45p per mile is added on if going over the 3 miles each way (I will travel up to 6 miles each way only for half hour slots) Half day sit charges are based within a 6 mile each way distance from my home. Over this a 45p per mile is added on if going over the 6 miles each way. Extra hours can be added on to half day sits at £7 per hour. Full day sit and overnight sit charges are based within an 8 mile each way distance from my home. Over this a 45p per mile is added on if going over the 8 miles each way. Extra hours can be added to the day sits at £7 per hour for one dog and £3.50 for any additional dogs from same household. Overnight sits are based on a 24 hour period. This runs from 9a.m to 9a.m. If going over this it is either charged at £7 per hour for each hour over , the day sit charge, or the overnight charge. I will work it out which is best for yourselves and your pocket. If needing me to arrive or leave within unsociable hours then an extra night will need to be booked. This can be discussed prior to booking. DEVON SITS: When booking sits in the Okehampton area please disregard mileage charges as stated above as overnight fees are charged extra to help cover with the travel costs. Please contact me for prices on overnight stays. Devon sits will only be taken on with a minimum of 7 nights. WEEKEND SITS: Please note if a sit is just for the weekend (between Friday and Monday morning), there will be an additional charge of £5 per night. If booked for a week or more then the weekend will be charged at the normal rate. HOLIDAY SURCHARGES: Services scheduled on the following days will incur time and half charges: Bank Holiday Mondays Also on: Valentines Day Mothers Day Services scheduled on the following days will incur double charges. New Years Eve New Years Day Good Friday Easter Sunday Christmas Eve Christmas Day Boxing Day An evening sit on New Years Eve can be arranged from 7p.m to 12.30a.m. An hourly rate will come into play after 12.30a.m. Please contact me for prices.
