To ensure the best results, a wash and blow dry is included with all services. You are welcome to arrive with this already done (excluding natural hair styles), which may reduce appointment time; however, service pricing will remain the same.

Hair Information/ Requirements 

Hair is included for French Curl Braids, Boho Braids, Miracle Knots and Butterfly Locs only. If you require a different colour for any of these styles, please contact me before booking to confirm availability.

For all other styles, hair must be provided by the client. The required hair details can be found within the service description.
Please note: If hair has been purchased by myself for your appointment and the appointment doesn’t go ahead for any reason the hair must be collected, no refunds will be issued for purchased hair.

Colour Mixing 

Colour mixing braiding hair (mixing multiple colours to form one colour) is not offered, please keep this in mind when booking.

Hair requirements 

Please ensure you bring the correct hair for your appointment:

Braiding Hair:
Ezbraid, Smart Braid, Kuknus, or Kali Quick Braid (Pre-Stretched only)
Goddess curls:
Jazzy, Kali, Baha Brazilian Deep wave curls or human hair curls (22-24 inch)

Details on the number of braiding hair bundles and curl bundles required are provided in the service description when booking.

Aaliyah Braids

Photos and/or videos will be taken during and completion of the service for attendance records and content. By booking an appointment with me, you give consent for this content to be taken and shared on my social media and other platforms.
For hijabi clients, photos will be taken for attendance purposes only and will not be posted online.
Booking an appointment confirms that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms.

BOOKING FEE AND PAYMENT

A Non refundable booking fee of £95 is taken when booking, a platform fee is also taken whilst taking the deposit and final payment. This covers admin, appointment allocation and all preparatory work carried out before the service takes place. You are unable to get the booking fee back unless the appointment is cancelled by myself e.g I cannot attend. The remaining cost is to be paid on the day of your appointment while in the building, you can find the payment link on your confirmation text

Please note legal action will be taken if there is a problem regarding payment.


APPOINTMENT ARRIVAL 

Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. If you expect to be late, you must notify me in advance.
If you are late 15 minutes or more your appointment may be cancelled, depending on the schedule. If you are 15 minutes late or more and I am still able to proceed, 
 a £20 late fee will apply due to significant disruption to the schedule. If cancelled, your booking fee will be forfeited, and another booking fee will be required to rebook.

CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING, NO SHOWS AND SAME DAY APPOINTMENTS 

You may reschedule once using the same deposit if notice is given up to 48 hours before your appointment. The rescheduled appointment must be within the same month. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made past the 48 hours of the appointment date will result in loss of booking fee and a new booking fee will be required to book again. Next day appointments that need to be rescheduled will require a new booking fee. No shows (failure to attend without notice on the day) or two cancellations will result in loss of booking privileges. This is to remain fair to other clients who could have taken the appointment. Same day appointments require a deposit, if you cancel this appointment a new booking fee will be needed to book in again. 

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Clients are responsible for all personal items brought to their appointment. Any belongings left behind must be retrieved by the client. The business is not responsible for items that are lost or misplaced.

PLUS ONES 

To ensure a calm and comfortable environment, I kindly ask that clients attend their appointments alone. Any additional guests will be asked to sit in the waiting area.

She’s AMAZING! I’m extremely tender headed and she managed to make my detangling, wash and braiding process pain free. Aaliyah is also extremely neat. 

She did an exceptional job on my hair. I left satisfied and eager to go back. She is professional, and knows what she’s doing. I really appreciated the fact that she always starts with clean hair, if you ain’t come with it washed, she will wash it for ya. She had gentle hands and braided the hair to my liking, normally I would worry if my hair would be done too tight and  worry about edges. I expressed how I would love for her to try her best to not do it tight. She did just that, neatly.

My daughter was delighted with her braids, and Aaliyah made her feel extremely comfortable throughout the process. I would highly recommend her services
