PAWsome Companions, LLC.

This Pet Care Service Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between PAWsome Companions/PAWsome Companions, LLC. ("Provider") and the undersigned client ("Client") for the provision of pet care services by Provider to Client's pets. By engaging PAWsome Companions, LLC., Client agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this Pet Care Services Agreement. Pet Care Service Agreement Terms and Conditions 1. PAWsome Companions, LLC. hereby agrees to offer pet sitting, dog walking, pet care, and other relevant pet care services in a dependable, compassionate, and trustworthy manner. In exchange for these services, the client expressly relinquishes and absolves PAWsome Companions, LLC., along with its owners, employees, and representatives, from any and all claims, except those stemming from negligence or intentional misconduct by PAWsome Companions, LLC directly. 2. Client agrees to notify PAWsome Companions, LLC. of any concerns within 24 hours of completion of services. 3. The client hereby acknowledges and agrees to settle all charges incurred for services provided. It is understood by the client that a deposit amounting to 50% of the total payment is required to be paid 48 hours before the scheduled start of services, with the remaining 50% to be paid on the day services are scheduled to start unless alternative payment arrangements have been specifically outlined and mutually consented to by the Owners and client. 4. Checks are accepted on an exception only basis upon Management approval. Client will incur a $25 charge for each returned check in addition to any and all bank fees attributed to the returned check. 5. PAWsome Companions, LLC. will implement all essential measures to prevent sickness, injury, escape, loss, accidents, or death of the Client's pet(s). The company shall not be held liable for any of the aforementioned occurrences unless they result from negligence or intentional misconduct on the part of PAWsome Companions, LLC. 6. Client represents and warrants that pet(s) are currently vaccinated in accordance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations. 7. PAWsome Companions, LLC. will follow the directions of the Veterinary Release Form in the case a pet should become injured or sick. Emergency protocol is also listed in Company Policy. 8. The client hereby acknowledges and agrees to assume full responsibility for any and all medical expenses and other damages incurred as a result of injury to the Pet Sitter, Dog Walker, or any other individuals or animals caused by the client's pets or negligent actions. 9. Client agrees to indemnify, hold harmless and defend PAWsome Companions, LLC. in the event of a claim by any person injured or otherwise damaged by a Client’s pet(s) or negligent act. 10. PAWsome Companions, LLC. retains the discretion to decline a full refund of the total cost for the reserved services in the event of cancellation with less than 48 hours notice before the service commences. In such cases, the client will be ineligible for a refund and will be accountable for payment if the Sitter or Walker is in transit to the client's residence or has already reached the destination. 11. PAWsome Companions, LLC. retains the authority to terminate this agreement at any time should the Pet Sitter, at their sole discretion, determine that the Client's pet(s) present a risk to their own health and/or safety, as well as that of other pets, individuals, or the Pet Sitter/Dog Walker. In the event that such concerns prevent the Pet Sitter or Walker from providing care for the pet, PAWsome Companions, LLC. will make efforts to reach out to the Client in order to arrange for alternative care or service solutions. Should the Client prove unreachable, the Client grants PAWsome Companions, LLC. permission to leave the pet within the Client's residence or crate in its original state. Additionally, the Client will be held accountable for the payment of the initially scheduled services. 12. PAWsome Companions, LLC. reserves the right to refuse service to any client, at any time, for any reason. 13. This document grants PAWsome Companions, LLC. and its representatives permission to access the Client's designated and stored address for the purpose of carrying out agreed-upon pet care services. 14. The client hereby grants PAWsome Companions, LLC. explicit authority to engage the services of a locksmith on their behalf and agrees to promptly reimburse PAWsome Companions, LLC. within 72 hours of return for any expenses incurred in the event of a malfunction of the garage entrance, door lock, deadbolt, keys, or automatic door opener. 15. PAWsome Companions, LLC. shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage resulting from a burglary or any other criminal activity that may occur during the provision of pet care services outlined in this agreement. 16. The client is required to ensure the proper security of the residence before departing to prevent the potential escape of pets or unauthorized entry of individuals. PAWsome Companions, LLC. will undertake to re-secure the home to the highest standard possible at the conclusion of each visit, and will meticulously inspect all locks and gates to ensure security before departure. 17. In the event of an emergency, inclement weather (hot or cold), rainstorms, or a natural disaster, the Client grants PAWsome Companions, LLC. the authority to exercise prudent judgment in ensuring the welfare and safety of the Client's pet(s) and premises. While PAWsome Companions, LLC will endeavor to continue providing services under such circumstances, the organization retains the prerogative to modify the service schedule at the discretion of the Dog Walker or Pet Sitter. Temperatures: -Cold: Under 50 degrees; -Hot: Over 88 degrees. Dog walker reserves the right to make a decision whether or not to walk a dog. If walking service does not occur, Walker will spend time with your dog inside and do enrichment games or activities and provide companionship. 18. PAWsome Companions, LLC. is not responsible for any damages done to the property or to clients provided supplies beyond the control of the Dog Walker or Pet Sitter. 19. The client is required to provide the essential equipment and supplies required for the care of their pet(s), which may include a durable and properly fitting harness or collar, a leash for walks or emergencies, pet food, medications, identification tags, litter boxes, cat litter, and cleaning supplies. The client grants permission for any purchases deemed necessary for the effective fulfillment of responsibilities. Reimbursement for the costs of all purchases and associated service fees must be made to PAWsome Companions, LLC within a period of 72 hours of completed services. 20. Client authorizes PAWsome Companions the use of their pet(s) pictures on websites, social media and/or marketing materials for promotional or educational purposes. 21. Client authorizes this contract to be valid approval for services so as to permit PAWsome Companions, LLC. to accept all future in person, telephone, online, mail or email reservations and provide services without additional signed contracts or written authorizations. 22. The provisions of this document shall be applicable to all pets under the ownership of the client, encompassing any and all future pets acquired by the client on or after the date of signing this agreement document. 23. The client is hereby informed that PAWsome Companions, LLC. exclusively employs positive reinforcement methods only in their training and discipline practices, and explicitly prohibits the use of choke, prong, shock collars, or any other equipment that may cause harm or instill fear in the pet(s) both physically and emotionally. PAWsome Companions, LLC. will promptly dispose of any such equipment if found on the pet(s) or provided to the Pet Sitter or Dog Walker for services. 24. Fenced in yards are wonderful playgrounds for our dogs and allow them additional space to exercise and play. However, no fence system is totally secure. PAWsome Companions does not accept responsibility or liability for any client’s animals that escape or become lost or injured, fatal or otherwise, when instructed to leave the clients animals in a fenced area. This includes electronic, wood, metal or any other type of fence. 25. PAWsome Companions will visit at the requested times as closely as possible. We currently book visits in 2-hour increments that we call ‘time windows.’ This is because of travel times, availability of staff, caring for multiple pets, and unforeseen circumstances. We will do our very best to arrive at the appointed times you request, however, we will arrive within the time window range. 26. In the event of a household emergency, disaster or inclement weather, PAWsome Companions has requested on your contract the name and phone number of a person living nearby. If PAWsome Companions is physically unable to reach your home due to impassable roads, please provide us with this information so that we can contact this person to request assistance. Your pets’ health and well-being are our utmost concern, and we will contact you as soon as possible to keep you informed of these events. Any Walker reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a walk because of heavy rain, heavy fog, or hot/cold temperatures under 50 degrees, or over 85 degrees due to sensitivity with heatstroke in dogs. 27. We all want our pets to have all the love and attention they deserve, but please be advised that if there are other persons entering and leaving your home, PAWsome Companions can not be held liable for any damages or problems that may arise as a result. Please inform us at the time of the consultation of anyone who may have access to your home while you are away.
