Great haircut from Ian. Will be my go to in the Desert.

Made an appointment and got served right on time! Good haircut and senior rate was nice. Warm town and neck shave was an unexpected treat. I'd go back anytime I'm in the area!

Daniel has been cutting my hair since last year - He does an excellent job at a great price. The atmosphere in the shop is old school and they offer refreshments.

My go to barbershop in Palm Desert when we are in town during the winter.  Received great service from Dan yesterday. Booked online and it was simple.  The decor in the shop is an amazing collection of art and memorabilia. Very cool.

Been coming to the shop for the past 5 or so  years, and never had a bad experience. Always look good when I leave The Barber Shop. 

My barber did an amazing job! Did everything I asked for and better. 

I went to “the barbershop“ under its previous ownership. I was so happy with them that I had reservations about how I would feel with the new owner. I had my first appointment with Ian, the owner, two weeks later. I was very pleased then, and I have never given a moment thought to going anywhere else since. Ian is very personable and professional, and I would highly recommend him.

These guys are the best—no question. I’ve tried a lot of barbers in the valley, and this shop really stands out. Everyone here is genuinely down to earth, welcoming, and skilled at what they do. Great cuts every time and even better conversations. Highly recommend.

I've  only been here twice and Ian cut my hair both times. I think we're still getting to know my particular style but I like the direction we're going and my wife likes it very much. The atmosphere is eclectic  and the music is great. It's loud enough to hear but low enough to  have a conversation over. The pricing is very reasonable  and they have senior discounts. There is no waiting at least not with an appointment.  Overall I'm very pleased with them and plan on being with them for sometim

Dan is an awesome Barber who gave me a great straight edge shave and took his time making sure I got a nice close shave and even cleaned up around my ears and neck so I left looking and feeling great!!!!!

Great atmosphere was my first time here got a cut by Dan and I’m definitely coming back. Haven’t had a haircut in a few months and couldn’t believed the difference & you can’t beat the prices and great staff!

The staff is very professional and friendly. They are well skilled with their clippers and a straight razor. Every time I visit the shop, I leave with a fresh clean cut.

I finally found an old school barber shop. I've been driving from Palm Desert to Palm Springs, but knew there were many barbers closer to my home. I've tried several but was never completely satisfied. In fact, I used to go to this shop years ago. I found this shop to be truly old school giving great haircuts and shaving neck hairs. My barber, Paul, was terrific and gave me an old school haircut. Won't have to drive to Palm Springs anymore. Great shop!

Excellent work as always! Ian consistently delivers top-quality results and brings a friendly, professional attitude every time. His attention to detail and personable approach make working with him a pleasure.

Daniel did a great job. He asked thoughtful questions about how I wanted my haircut and beard trim to look, had good observations and input; and then proceeded to do a fine job with an excellent outcome. The shop had a good vibe and was a very pleasant experience. 

Booked a cut with Ryan, and he did amazing.  The rest of the barbers were friendly and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend and plan to return with Ryan. Ryan used to cut my hair when he was at his last shop in Murrieta, but he moved, and as soon as I saw he was cutting hair here, I had to make the drive from Perris. He is the only person I trust with my hair because he takes the time to ensure he is doing right by his clients.

Really cool barbershop! Very patient with my wiggly 5-year-old grandson. Excellent job on his haircut.

The Barber Shop on Cook in Palm Desert is my go-to. Great cuts every time, without the El Paseo prices. The vibe is chill, the barbers are skilled and friendly, and booking online is super easy. Always on time and professional. Highly recommend for a quality cut! 

Excellent attention to detail and excellent execution with my haircut and shave.  Relaxed and clean environment and skilled barber.  This is my new barbershop for sure and I need not look for another.  I just moved to this area and feel very lucky to have landed upon Michael's chair.
