Here at The Golden Rule Pet Grooming,  I believe that since our pets are our fur babies, they deserve the Golden Rule treatment as well. 

My goal is to provide a personal grooming experience for you and your pet, including discussing any skin or health problems discovered during your pets groom. 

The Golden Rule Pet Grooming

Kim is a great groomer!!!!  Our old English sheepdog LOVES her even though grooming is her least favorite activity as a result of poor groomers at a certain pet chain store. Kim will work meticulously on Bu’s coat!   She’s the best! 

Kim is great she does a fantastic job! Riley loves her and dosent mind going there. She does 1 on 1 in her own shop at home.  So much more personable.  We love her and will keep her. 

Kim is AMAZING Baxter loves going there and she does a fantastic job HIGHLY recommend.  I prefer to take my dog to somewhere that does one on one with no cages.

I recommend The Golden Rule Pet Grooming services!  From start to finish, the experience was fantastic for Luigi. Kim is professional, gentle, and clearly cares deeply about the animals she works with.  Luigi came home looking amazing with his bow tie, smelling great, happy and relaxed. My fur baby Cooper absolutely loves Kim. Cooper is a red lab who is strangely afraid of everything but when he gets out of the car at Kim’s place, he practically pulls me to go see Kim and get his bath. And…he smells so good and his coat is so soft when he’s done, I snuggle with him for as long as he lets me. Kim is such a professional…highly recommend her for your fur baby too!!!

I also appreciate the website layout. The online booking aspect and the transparency of the prices being listed are both a win (many local competitors do not post prices online). Both items being accessible as soon as you open the site is glorious - no fuss.

Kim was wonderful and patient! My Mabel is a squirmy dog and loves to throw her weight around, but Kim definitely managed to get it done! :D

This was our 1st time with Kim who was referred from a friend of ours who also have a doodle like us. The client after us also had a doodle. So she knows a thing or two about doodles which is IMPORTANT. She was great with our Harris who was a little shy at 1st. She looked great when she was finished. This alleviates my stress since I used to do it myself. We have our next appointment booked. :)

Kim was great and very helpful as this was my first time taking a dog to the groomer. I chose her because the grooming is done in her home and she is fear free grooming certified. She had excellent communication before, during and after the appointment. My puppy went in looking like a muppet and came out looking (and smelling) amazing!

Kim does a beautiful job grooming my Doodle named Otis. She is friendly and accommodating and is able to get him groomed in less than 3 hours. 

Very accommodating, and nice. Blake always looks so handsome. Also Rosie feels so much better since she got her nails clipped. Thanks again for doing that today.

Our 7 year old Basset Hound's first trip to a groomer was magnificent!
Kim was kind, thorough, and professional.  Aubrey is a bit timid of new experiences but, thanks to Kim, she came through with flying "colors". Her white is white again!

Kim is wonderful. Our little guy is so scared when going to the groomer but she is accommodating to him. She is working with him and he's starting to do better each time. Her rates are reasonable as well. 

Our golden retriever, Chloe, comes home smelling and looking so good after each visit. Kim truly has a heart for her work, and we are so grateful to have found her!

Took our new puppy Cooper to see Kim for his first grooming and it was a great experience! Kim is very friendly, easy to talk to and made us feel welcome! When I picked Cooper up, he looked so cute with the little bow she put on him, and he smelled amazing too, highly recommend!

Kim is absolutely amazing. We took both our dogs to her. The nail trim is always a issue with our 1 dog but he loved her and had no issues. Our cavapoo has been to several other grooms and always came back scalped. She did an amazing trim on him and would recommend her for any dog grooming needs. 100% the best around central PA area.

I greatly appreciate the attention to detail and the care that Kim shows toward my more timid dog. The prices are affordable and Ivy always looks (and smells) great! Kim did an excellent job with my Bernese  Mountain dog who can be very anxious. Kim’s patience with her is amazing and I highly recommend her as a groomer!

Kim is amazing!  My dog has stranger danger, hates getting a bath and is getting a little cranky as he gets older.  She took time to try and make friends with him and gain his trust.  She bathed him and texted me to assure me that it went well and was going to start his nail trim.  In no time he was finished and smelling and looking good.  I'm not sure he's ever going to be totally happy with the process but I believe she can help him be better with it.

Best dog grooming experience ever. She is extremely patient and kind. At my vet’s office it takes 7 of them to hold my anxious German shepherd down to clip his nails. She did it with me giving him treats easy peasy.

I have a Bernese mountain dog and in the past, we’ve had bad experiences with groomers. Every time I would pick him up he would be panting very hard and you could tell he went through a lot of stress. I was also charged with handling fees a couple of times which surprised me, he’s very gentle. But then he had Kim for the first time and when he came home he wasn’t panting and he was so happy. His coat also looked the best it has ever looked!! He loves Kim and so do we! Highly highly recommend!!!

Kim is amazing. She is very attentive to her clients wants and needs (both the  2-legged and 4-legged ones).  She is pleasant and professional. We are very satisfied with her work and will keep bringing our fur babies  to her.

Kim is the absolute best groomer we have ever gone to. She greets our wild and excited doodles at the door- They are very chill most of the time, except when they go “for a ride,” and then they are VERY excited. No worries for Kim. No only does this not scare her, she quickly gets control and waves me away. In short order she texts to say they are ready. They look and smell amazing and always have a seasonal bow or tie on their collar. Today, they even had a pup cup! Highly recommend

I bring my 19 year old schnoodle to Kim every 6-8 weeks for her groom. She’s very frail and has some conditions that we as older adults suffer from. Kim is very attentive to her needs and does a great job with her. I am very particular about the care of my girl and Kim does whatever I ask her to do. I’m very pleased with her care.

Kim did a Fabulous Summer Cut on our Shorkie. Maggie was a little overdue and Kim did Fabulous Job. Maggie looks great and is much more comfortable as well. Thanks Again Kim, we’ll be back for sure…. 👍🏻

Kim was wonderful with our fur baby, Finn. He is very scared of noises and gets very anxious. She takes her time with him. I believe in time he will be very comfortable with her. she is willing to work with you  and your fur baby to do whatever it takes to make them at ease. Her rates are also reasonable. I highly recommend her. Call her, make an appointment and see for yourself. You won’t regret it. 

I was very comfortable with leaving my Samson with Kim and she seemed like she was knowledgeable. We came to pick him up and it was the best cut I've seen so far. Thanks
