THE NANA TOUCH Client Policies & Booking Agreement “A person’s true beauty should not come from outward adornments like fancy hairstyles, gold jewelry, or fine clothes.” — 1 Peter 3:3–4 (NIV) Before booking with me, please remember that your beauty does not come from your hair, makeup, clothes, or any other outward appearance. Your heart, character, and the beauty you carry within are what truly matter. Jesus loves you. 🤍 By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the policies below. ⸻ 💳 DEPOSIT & PAYMENT • A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. • Your deposit is applied toward your total service price. Example: If your service total is $100, your $25 deposit is applied to the total and your remaining balance is $75. • No full payments are accepted in advance. Only the required deposit is collected when booking unless otherwise stated. • All payments must be made through my booking website. Cash, Cash App, Zelle, Venmo, or other forms of payment will not be accepted for appointment balances unless otherwise stated. • Deposits are non-refundable and are not transferable to another appointment or client. • Your appointment is not considered confirmed until the required deposit has been received. • A card may be kept on file through the booking system when the client chooses to provide one. Having a card on file does not replace the required 25% deposit. • Any charges made to a card on file will only be made when permitted under the applicable booking/payment terms agreed to by the client. • Remaining balances are due at the time of service. • Failure to provide payment for the remaining balance may result in the service being discontinued and/or future booking restrictions. ⸻ 📅 RESCHEDULING • If you need to reschedule, please communicate with me as soon as possible. • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 72 hours before your appointment start time. • Deposits may be transferred to a rescheduled appointment only when the rescheduling request meets the requirements above. • Same-day rescheduling is not allowed. • Repeated rescheduling may result in additional booking restrictions. • If you need to reschedule more than once, a new deposit and/or additional payment may be required at The Nana Touch’s discretion. ⸻ ⏰ LATENESS Please be on time. I may have other clients scheduled after you, and significant lateness affects the entire day’s schedule. Grace Period You are given a 30-minute grace period. • After 30 minutes, a $35 late fee will be added to your remaining balance. • After 45 minutes with no communication, your appointment will automatically be canceled. • If you are more than 45 minutes late, please do not come to the appointment unless we have communicated and agreed otherwise beforehand. Example: If your appointment is at 12:00 PM and your ETA is 12:45 PM, please remain home unless I have specifically approved the late arrival. • Arriving late does not guarantee that your full service time will be extended. • If your lateness affects the ability to complete the originally booked service, the service may need to be shortened, modified, rescheduled, or canceled. • Any additional time or work required because of lateness may be subject to an additional fee. • Late fees still apply regardless of whether another service provider, appointment, transportation issue, or outside circumstance caused you to arrive late. ⸻ ❌ CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS Cancellations I understand that life happens. If something comes up and you cannot make your appointment, please communicate with me as soon as possible. • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your appointment start time. • Same-day cancellations are not allowed. • There is no separate cancellation fee; however, your non-refundable deposit will not be returned. • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment may result in additional booking restrictions. • If you miss a flight, event, appointment, or other booking because you did not allow enough time around your appointment, your deposit will not be refunded. No-Shows A no-show is defined as missing your appointment without appropriate communication. • No-show appointments will result in the loss of your deposit. • No-shows may result in being permanently banned from booking with The Nana Touch. • If permitted to book again, a new deposit and/or full payment may be required. ⸻ 📲 SAME-DAY & LAST-MINUTE BOOKINGS • Same-day appointments may be available depending on my schedule. • Same-day appointments are considered squeeze-in appointments. • A squeeze-in fee will be added on top of the original service amount due. • Same-day availability is not guaranteed. • Same-day cancellations and same-day rescheduling are not allowed. • Once a same-day appointment is confirmed, all standard cancellation, lateness, and no-show policies still apply. ⸻ ✨ SERVICE CONCERNS, CORRECTIONS & REFUNDS I want every client to leave feeling confident and happy with their service. Please inspect your hair or makeup thoroughly and communicate any concerns before leaving your appointment. Once You Leave My Chair Once you leave my chair, you are confirming that you are satisfied with your hair, makeup, and the service provided. After leaving the appointment, no complaints, dissatisfaction claims, refunds, or complimentary corrections will be accepted. If you have a concern about your service, it must be addressed before you leave my chair so that I have the opportunity to assess and address the concern while you are still present. Corrections If a concern is brought to my attention before you leave, I may offer a reasonable correction to address the specific issue. Corrections are intended to address an issue with the original service and are not an opportunity to completely change the requested style. If a correction is offered and declined, the service will be considered accepted and completed. Refunds • Refunds are not guaranteed. • You do not automatically receive a refund because you are dissatisfied with the appearance of your hair or makeup. • Refunds are not provided solely because a client changes their mind or does not like the final appearance of a completed service. • If a reasonable correction is offered before you leave and you choose not to receive it, a refund will not be provided. • Once you leave my chair, the service is considered accepted and completed. • First-time clients are not eligible for refunds based solely on dissatisfaction with the final appearance of a completed service. • All refund decisions are made by The Nana Touch based on the circumstances of the service and this policy. ⸻ 🗣️ CONSULTATIONS & DESIRED RESULTS • All consultations will take place through text message or video call when needed. • Clients may be required to send clear pictures, videos, or other information before a consultation can be completed. • Clients are responsible for clearly communicating their desired style, length, parting, color, finish, and other preferences before or during the service. • Reference photos are encouraged when appropriate. • Reference photos are used as inspiration and do not guarantee an identical result. • Results may vary based on the client’s natural hair, hair density, length, texture, condition, facial features, and other individual factors. • The Nana Touch will communicate when a requested result is not reasonably achievable with the client’s current hair or selected service. • Clients are responsible for asking questions and communicating concerns before leaving the appointment. ⸻ 🔄 STYLE CHANGES Once a service has been started, changes to the originally requested style may require additional time, product, hair, or labor. • Major style changes may result in an additional fee. • A completely different style may require a new appointment. • Requests made after the service has been completed are not considered service defects simply because the client changed their mind. • If a client approves a style, part, length, color, or other service detail during the appointment, the service will be considered completed according to the approved request. ⸻ 💇🏽‍♀️ HAIR POLICIES Wig Installations • Before booking a wig installation, clients must complete a consultation by sending clear pictures of the wig through text message or participating in a video call if needed. • Please make sure your wig is clean and ready for installation. • If The Nana Touch must clean the wig before the service, a flat $36 wig cleaning fee will be added. • Wig color customization is an additional service and must be booked separately before the wig installation appointment. • Clients must book the color customization appointment and the installation appointment separately when color customization is requested. Hair Preparation • Clients are responsible for arriving with their hair prepared according to the requirements of their selected service. • Shampoo is included with applicable services unless otherwise stated. • Hair that requires excessive detangling, removal of buildup, matting, or additional preparation may require additional time and/or fees. • If the condition of the hair prevents the service from being safely or reasonably completed, the service may be modified, postponed, or canceled. Hair Provided I provide hair for feed-in styles, sew-ins, quickweaves, and other services when specifically included in the service description. Feed-in styles include: • Feed-in cornrows • Feed-in twists • Box braid styles where hair is specifically included in the service description Hair provided by The Nana Touch for box braids and feed-in twists will be subject to an additional hair fee of $25.
