Smiley Riley Pickleball Training is my very own passion project and my full time job. I light up whenever I step foot on the court. If it's teaching, training or competing it's my happy place and that shines through in my coaching.  I am PPR Certified, Colin Johns company  RPO Certified as well as Advanced Strategy Quatro Certified . I work with all levels of players in individual, groups and clinics.

Riley far exceeded my expectations. As a beginner she focused on the most important skills for a good foundation. She demonstrated the grip, stroke, ball position, body position, court movement and serving. I feel so much more confident and had so much fun. She is positive, encouraging and really does smile a lot!

What a great instructor Riley is. After drilling with me for a short time she diagnosed shots that needed work and then worked with me on those shots. Great patience and very upbeat instruction. I will be back.

What a great experience! Riley was able to give my group of 3 practical tips and feedback that was well paced and kind. The time flew by. We plan on making doing it again!

Great Class ! very patient , really explained everything and helping me with my goals. . Ready for another lesson!  The DINK AND DINE IN MESA staff made us feel like we were playing at home on our court and food and service was amazing!!!!

Riley’s energy makes every lesson fun and their expert tips—like staying compact in swings, mastering footwork, and moving your opponent at the kitchen are just some of the things that I found  super helpful! I would definitely book again!!

I am new to pickleball and had 2 concerns going into my first lesson with Smiley.  I thought my lack of athleticism would limit my ability to learn the game.  And secondly I was thinking even if I did learn it would be hard to find people to play with.  By the end of my first 60 minute lesson Smiley had helped me understand the basics of scoring, introduced me to court/kitchen strategies.  I’m looking forward to ‘paddling in” on a local court.  

I had a 1 hr private lesson this morning.  I’m a beginner and really enjoyed my lesson. Riley was friendly, very comfortable to be wi and an excellent teacher.  Clear, friendly, skilled teaching method. I am here from out of town but would definitely return for more instruction if I lived here.  Highly recommend

Riley is a great teacher. She asked me what I wanted to focus on and we worked on those things. She is very astute and explains the how and why of everything she’s trying to teach you. I am looking forward to my next lesson.

My wife and I are both beginners and took a lesson from Riley and she was awesome.  Very knowledgeable, helpful and made us both feel very comfortable. It was great to spend an hour with Riley. She listened to me explain what I felt was missing from my current skillset and then designed a drill segment that helped enforce how to execute the skills during gameplay.  
The only thing I "wish" is that the hour did not go by so fast!

This is for an individual lesson which works best when determining one’s level play, learning the game for the first time, are those wanting to work on specific skills like technique and foot work

Single 60 minute lesson on-site

This will be your organized group unless we have discussed and arranged a group together . Working in a group allows us to focus on what your needs are. We will also be learning more about footwork technique and strategy on the court. This is great for all levels of players from beginner to intermediate to advanced tournament players.

2-4 people for a 60 minute lesson on-site

These events are a huge hit! Depending on the group size, we will need to determine a appropriate location. We can work with all levels of players, teaching them how to play the game or adding in strategy, and then finish it up with a fun round, robin, mini tournaments, we can work together to create the perfect event for you. Events can range from 2 to 4 hours.
