KM SKIN AESTHETICS — BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS By booking an appointment with KM Skin Aesthetics, you agree to the following terms. BOOKING & DEPOSITS A deposit or booking payment is required to secure your appointment unless otherwise stated at the time of booking. Your deposit will be deducted from the final cost of your treatment. Where payment is not received within the required timeframe, the appointment may be released and made available for another client to book. Your appointment is not secured until the required booking payment has been made. RESCHEDULING We understand that plans sometimes change. Appointments may therefore be rescheduled once only, provided more than 24 hours’ notice is given. When sufficient notice is provided, your existing deposit or booking payment will transfer to your rearranged appointment. Once an appointment has been rescheduled, that new appointment cannot be moved again using the same deposit. If you need to reschedule for a second time, the existing booking will be cancelled and a new deposit or booking payment will be required to secure another appointment. If less than 24 hours’ notice is provided, our cancellation policy below will apply. If KM Skin Aesthetics needs to rearrange your appointment, this will not count as your permitted reschedule and you will not lose your deposit or booking payment as a result. CANCELLATIONS If you cancel your appointment with more than 24 hours’ notice, your deposit will be refunded. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will result in the loss of your deposit or booking payment. Same-day cancellations and non-attendance/no-shows will be charged the full cost of the scheduled treatment. Where possible, please let us know as soon as you become aware that you cannot attend so the appointment can be offered to another client. BESPOKE CONSULTATIONS A £30 consultation fee is payable at the time of booking. This appointment is dedicated time with Kara to discuss your concerns, complete an appropriate assessment and discuss suitable treatment options. If you choose to proceed with the agreed treatment plan, the £30 consultation fee will be deducted from your treatment cost. If you decide not to proceed with treatment, the consultation fee is non-refundable and covers Kara’s professional time and expertise. The standard cancellation and rescheduling policies also apply to consultation appointments. ANTI-WRINKLE REVIEWS Anti-wrinkle reviews are optional and are not automatically booked. Clients who would like a review are responsible for booking their appointment within the appropriate review period advised by Kara. A £30 booking fee is payable when booking the review. The review appointment includes Kara’s assessment and clinical review, regardless of whether any additional treatment is considered appropriate or required. If Kara needs to rearrange your review appointment, you will not be disadvantaged because the appointment subsequently falls outside the original review window. If a client moves or delays their own review beyond the appropriate review period, it may no longer be treated as a standard review and additional charges may apply. ATTENDING YOUR APPOINTMENT Please arrive on time for your appointment. Where possible, please arrive without make-up on the area being treated. Please attend your appointment alone unless this has been agreed with Kara beforehand. Children are not permitted in the clinic. Please arrange appropriate childcare before attending your appointment. If you are late, Kara will do her best to accommodate you. However, your appointment may need to be shortened or rearranged where there is insufficient time to carry out your treatment safely and appropriately. CLINIC LOCATION & PARKING KM Skin Aesthetics 64 Caprington Avenue Kilmarnock KA1 4SQ Please use the car park at the rear of the building. The entrance to the clinic is also located at the rear. PLEASE NOTE Every appointment in Kara’s diary is time reserved specifically for that client. These policies are in place to protect clinic time, provide fair access to appointments and allow KM Skin Aesthetics to maintain a safe and professional service. KM Skin Aesthetics reserves the right to update its booking policies when necessary. Updated terms will apply to bookings made after the revised policy takes effect.
