Howard Smith—creator of Karma by Howard, a private sanctuary for hair and wellbeing in Whitchurch, Hampshire where every detail is guided by organic, natural, and vegan values. I carefully curate my tools and products to ensure they are cruelty-free and packed with nourishing, non-toxic ingredients. Politique et conditions

To rearrange or cancel an appointment, kindly provide a minimum of 48 hours notice. A 50% fee will be charged for cancellations made after this period, and 100% for same-day cancellations or no-shows. Please disclose any allergies or sensitivities prior to services, beverages and refreshments. If you are a new client to colour or your last colour with Howard was over 6 months ago, a sensitivity/patch test must be booked at least 48 hours prior to service. Any previous reactions to any chemicals or other risk factors such as pregnancy or medication (but not limited to) should be disclosed prior to service. For insurance purposes, clients must be over the age of 18 unless agreed prior. Thank you for your cooperation.

A 'deep dive' cut and blow-dry where exclusivity meets artistry. For the discerning new client, we offer a total hair recalibration. This deep-dive experience utilizes microscopic imaging to assess the structure of your hair and scalp followed by a curated selection of nutrient-dense treatments tailored specifically to your results. Experience the tranquility of my signature Karma Ritual which includes a scalp scrub and hot towel treatment. Before we cut and blow-dry your hair we will map out a complex style assessment that fits your aesthetic and lifestyle. We finish with an expert styling tutorial and an in-depth product knowledge session, ensuring your salon-fresh glow remains effortless at home. This is the foundation of a long-term partnership. The full service menu will be available after this first appointment, skin sensitivity tests and colour options will be discussed at this appointment for your next visit.
