Award winning dog grooming for small dogs.  Little Acorns provides a one-on-one grooming experience that is tailored to each dog.   Groomer and proprietor Annie is a Fear Free certified groomer, certified pet groomer, and is certified in pet first aid & CPR. With over 10 years salon experience, Annie’s focus is on achieving quality grooming outcomes without placing undue stress on the dog.   Please note that Little Acorns cannot accommodate any further behavioural grooming clients or dogs over 10kg at this time. Little Acorns Dog Grooming

Little Acorns Dog Grooming provides professional grooming services with care for your pet’s wellbeing. All appointments require prior booking and timely arrival. We reserve the right to refuse service if a dog shows aggression, illness, or poses a health risk. Owners must disclose any behavioural or medical conditions. Liability is limited to direct damages caused by our negligence; we are not liable for unforeseen reactions or pre-existing conditions. Payment is due upon service completion. Cancellations under 24 hours will incur a fee of 50% of the booked service price. No shows incur a fee of 100% of the service price. Personal data is collected and used in compliance with data protection laws solely for appointment management. By using our services, you agree to these terms. 

Drop off and Pick Up:
I operate as a one-on-one service and book to facilitate no or minimal overlap between appointments for the comfort of your dog. Please adhere to your drop off and pick-up time, I will text you when your dog is ready to go home. For safety reasons do not pop in to check if your dog is ready ahead of time or walk past the salon window. Most dogs find this incredibly distracting as they are so happy to see you and it can become dangerous to complete the groom. 

Payment:
Full payment must be made on collection of your dog. I accept cash and card payment using Square. 

Pricing:
Prices are a guide only and may be subject to change. I am happy to provide a quote at check in time if you wish, quotes made over the phone are estimates only. I am unable to provide a firm quote without physically assessing your pup. Services are priced according to the time, skill and energy required to groom your dog. 

Safety:
To provide the highest level of care for your dog I have a safety policy. If at any time your dog gets nervous, anxious, scared, aggressive, or even overly silly, I will slow down and help your dog to be comfortable and calm. It’s very important to me that the dogs in my care are kept safe and stress free. I use sharp tools and need to prevent injuries. I will work with your dog to help them feel comfortable. This will build a great experience for successful grooming for your dog’s lifetime. Your dog may not be groomed to perfection or completion. I will charge for the time that I spend working with your dog ($90 p/hr).

Matting:
I will not brush out any matting where I believe the process will cause prolonged stress and/or discomfort. I can not undo weeks or months of lapsed or insufficient maintenance in a 1-2 hour visit, it is simply not fair on the dog and I will always put humanity ahead of vanity. If matting is present I will let you know what needs to be done and ask for your consent to move forward with the service. In many cases it is necessary to shave the coat short and start again. Please know that this is not my preference- long, styled grooms are my jam! Your dog’s wellbeing always comes ahead of our aesthetic preferences. 

You can truly see how much love and passion goes into what you do. Layla is always so excited to see you, which says it all! She always comes home looking absolutely beautiful (as always) and so very  happy. Thank you Annie! I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my girl. ❤️

Annie has been grooming my little Buddy for years now, she does such an amazing job he always comes bouncing out of his groom looking amazing! But most importantly he feels great because Annie takes such care of him, she’s gentle and patient and kind to him that I think he sees it more as a play date than a groom. So grateful for Annie and her experience and professionalism.
