Southern Honey Spa

New Cancellation Policy
As of August 1, 2026, I am implementing a new cancellation policy to address the increase in last-minute cancellations and no-shows. As a self-employed business owner, I do not have paid sick leave, vacation time, or other benefits. Simply put: if I don't work, I don't get paid.
In my 14 years as a massage therapist, I have only had to cancel on clients three or four times due to illness. When I do need to change an appointment, I always provide as much notice as possible.
I have not increased my fees in at least five years, and I would like to keep it that way. To avoid raising prices, I need to maintain a consistent schedule to cover booth rent, supplies, and personal expenses. I utilize a scheduling app that sends a reminder 24 hours before your appointment. If you receive that reminder and know you cannot make it, please text me to cancel. I understand that emergencies and illnesses happen, but I appreciate you letting me know.
New Policy Details:
New Clients: If you no-show for your first appointment, you will not be able to reschedule.
Established Clients: If you cancel on the day of your appointment or no-show, the appointment fee must be paid before you can schedule a future session.
Pre-paid Clients/Packages: If you cancel on the day of your appointment or no-show, that session will be deducted from your package.
I appreciate your cooperation. I value all of my clients and strive to be fair to everyone; while you are all like family to me, this is still a business, and keeping my prices affordable is very important.
Thank you,
Julie

5-star review
I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Southern Sweet Massager! This was my first ever professional back massage. From start to finish, everything was professional, welcoming, and relaxing. The massage was amazing, and I left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and completely satisfied. You can truly tell there is care and attention to detail in the experience. I highly recommend Southern Honey Spa to anyone looking for a great massage and a wonderful experience. Thank You Mrs Juli

Thank you Julie for a wonderful experience! I received the neck and shoulder massage. It was perfect for me and what I needed. I feel the pricing is very reasonable. Julie spent about 45 minutes with me. She explained all the massage procedures and what she was going to do next. I left feeling relaxed and less tension in my neck and shoulders. Thank you! I will return! 🖤🖤🖤

Wonderful experience! She does amazing work! Highly recommend.

Wonderful massage. Julie listened when I mentioned my problem areas and focused on them.
I can’t wait until my next massage from her!!!!!

This was my first ever massage and it was a an amazing experience. I have constant back pain and shoulder pain and Julie worked out all the knots. I booked the full body massage with hot stones and my body feels great. I will definitely be returning. The atmosphere and Julie were both wonderful. I highly recommend.

Fabulous massage! Very communicative. Definitely a return customer here! 🙌🏻

Thank you so much, the massage was amazing!!! And at such a great price too, you just cant beat it!

Juli does such a good job and is so sweet!

Julie worked on problem areas as discussed with good results. Overall a positive experience.

Great massage. Will definitely go back. Julie was amazing.

This was my first ever full body massage and because of how professional yet friendly Julia was I will book again in the future. Extremely clean and calming.

Wonderful experience. Will go for deep tissue next time.

It was a pleasure to see Julie today. The massage was wonderful and so was the conversation. I plan to go back soon,

Julie is absolutely amazing, I enjoyed my massage very much !! she is very sweet, very good at her job and I highly recommend getting a massage with Miss Julie.

Julie is amazing! I have chronic shoulder and neck pain and she helps to keep it manageable. I am thankful to God for blessing her with the skills and talents that she has. I always leave feeling wonderful .

I have a medical condition that requires high quality massage to relax my back muscles so that the acupuncture I am receiving is effective. With that said, I started my search for an LMT thinking licensing would level the playing field. Nothing could be farther from the truth. After many massages that were nothing more than a back rub, I found Southern Honey and Julie Wood. My prayers have finally been answered! Julie is AWESOME!!!! She knew exactly what to do and how to do it ...effectively!!

First time here. Very nice experience. Will be back.

I did the 2 hour massage and it was very relaxing. Just booked my second one!

Julie is amazing! I've been coming to her for years and will continue for years to come. I leave feeling relaxed, renewed and refreshed - just amazing!

Massage is the best in the world. You are such a pleasure to be around and a great person to call a friend. A Godly woman like you are hard to find. So professional and well learned in your trade of massage. I leave and I am 100% relaxed all over. Got home and just looking at the blood vessels in my hand that are hard to find and they have been relaxed and are full of flowing blood. This is very good for a heart patient. Folks that don't believe in massages are missing the boat.

Had relaxing massage from Julie. She listens to your problem areas and addresses them. I definitely recommend her.

This was my first massage and I really enjoyed it. Julie was great and so easy to talk to. I will definitely be back.

Amazing! Julie melted my tension away. Especially with using heat on upper back, neck and shoulders.

My massage was wonderful and relaxing! I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a great massage

My knee massage was great! I could tell I had one unlike another from someone else in Anderson. My knee was loose when I checked it at home.
I also have had problems with my shoulders aching from sleeping so much in a recliner. Will get those worked on at my next visit.

Great experience, extremely profession and a great massage. Highly recommend!

It’s was a great experience!!!! I love every minute of it! Body feel great !

Julie is always amazing . She is so kind ! Listens to your needs and concerns and pays extra attention to them. Wonderful massage . Detoxing , circulating and relaxing ☺️
Highly recommend!

I went to Julie after receiving a gift card for a massage. She gave me a "firm" massage and the pains in my neck and back around my shoulder blade were gone. I honestly had no idea that a massage would help those pains but they were exactly what I needed! I will definitely be going back to see her again.

90 mins with Julie and I’m so relaxed! She is always amazing. Hot stones, hot towels, beautiful shop. Can’t wait to go back!

Julie is amazing! I left my appointment feeling incredibly relaxed and stress-free! Just what I needed!

Julie does a wonderful job and is so personable and friendly!

Julie is very professional and personable and has a lovely facility for her location. She has been helping me for over 5 years and knows how to work a month’s worth of stress out of my neck and back each time I go.
