Matting & Flea Policy: If you book your pet in for a groom and they have severe matting in their coat, an additional £20.00 charge will be added to your grooming fee Please note: regular clipping of a matted coat carries risks. Shaving close to the skin can sometimes result in minor nicks, or skin warts may get caught. By booking, the customer agrees not to hold Heads & Tails responsible for any unavoidable accidents that occur during a necessary shave-off, gives permission for us to take the dog to the vet if required, and agrees to pay for any necessary treatments. The customer is also aware that underlying skin conditions (such as rashes or irritation) may come to light once the matted coat is removed Flea Policy: > If fleas are discovered during the groom, the customer gives Heads & Tails permission to administer a professional flea wash. The customer will incur an additional £15.00 charge for this service to cover the specialized shampoo and salon deep-cleaning.

Description: > We will pick your pet up from your home and transport them safely to our salon. Once their pamper groom is finished, your pet will be dropped off right back to your home address. This service is £8.00 for addresses within 5 miles of our base in Whiston Village (L35). Please add this to your booking if required.

Matting & fea policy

Our Policy- If you book your pet in for a groom and your pet as matts in its coat, their will be a £20.00 charge added to your grooming fee. Also due to a coat being matted, sometimes while shaving down the skin can get nicked or warts underneath may get caught, and the customer will not hold heads & Tails responsible for any accidents that occur during a shave off, and give permission for them to take my dog to the vets, and the customer will pay for any necessary treatments as required. Also the customer is aware that some skin conditions may come to light i.e rashes etc. also if fleas are discovered during the groom the customer gives heads & Tails permission for a flea wash and the customer will incur a £15.00 additional charge for this service .
