General Agreement - By using my grooming services, you accept these Terms & Conditions in full. You agree to provide accurate and complete information regarding your dogs health, temperament, and grooming history. This helps me ensure the safety and comfort of your dog during grooming. Online booking - When booking online, select the service that you require. If you have more than one dog please remember to select more than one service so that the right amount of time can be added to your booking and include all names and breeds. Once you have completed your booking request, I will need to approve it first - this may take a few minutes to a couple of hours. New customers will need to pay a £15 booking deposit per dog (Giant breeds will require a £30 deposit). When you send a booking request online, I will text you with a payment link. Your booking wont be secured until this has been paid. If I don’t receive payment promptly, and/or you haven’t provided enough information/selected the wrong service for your dog's breed, your booking will be declined. Cancellations/no shows - Existing customers that book in every 6-8 weeks, will not need to pay a deposit, but will still be charged a £15 cancellation/no show fee per dog (£30 for giant breeds) if you fail to show up or cancel your appointment less than 48 hours prior to the appointment time. You will not be able to rebooking back in until this has been paid. If you're a new customer and you paid a booking deposit - deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to a different time slot if you rearrange at least 48 hours prior to the original booking time. If you cancel less than 48 hours, then you will lose your deposit. If the groom needs to be terminated due to dog aggression, this will be classed as a no show and you will be charged £15 per dog (£30 for giant breeds), this is to cover the costs of the taken appointment slot. If you have already paid a booking deposit, you won't be charged extra, you will just lose your booking deposit. Appointments can be cancelled and rescheduled via the online booking system, but if you cancel less than 48 hours before your appointment, you will need to contact me directly. Fleas - It is your responsibility to make sure your dog does not have fleas when coming into the salon. If your dog is found to have fleas prior to the groom I will contact you and request that you come and collect your dog straight away, if you've not already paid a booking deposit you will be charged £15 (£30 for giant breeds) plus an extra £10 to cover the costs of the flea bomb and the extra time needed to clean and disinfect the salon. If the fleas are found once I have already started bathing/clipping the dog, I will continue the groom, however there will be an additional £15 charge on top of the full groom price, as your dog will need to be bathed in a flea shampoo and the salon will need to be disinfected - this will be taken from your deposit if you have paid one. Matted dogs - Brushing moderate to severe matts out would breach animal welfare, it would cause great discomfort and the dog would be required to stand on the table for a much longer period. If matts can't be easily brushed out, clipping is the safest and kindest way to remove them. If your dog does need clipping short due to excessive matting, I will be sure to contact you first. There will be an additional charge of £5-10 depending on the severity. Clipping a matted coat requires extra time and causes more equipment wear and tear. Aggressive / Nervous dogs - Owners have the obligation to inform me of any known aggressive/nervous behavior traits their dog may have to other animals or humans prior to your dog's appointment. I reserve the right to refuse service if I believe your dog may become a danger to itself or those within the salon. In the event any of these behaviors present during the groom the session may be stopped at any time. Pregnant dogs - I will refuse to groom any dogs that are pregnant. I also recommend leaving a groom until the puppies have been weaned. Time keeping - Arrive on time to your dog's grooming appointment. To ensure your dog receives enough grooming time and one to one care it is important that you arrive on time to your dog's grooming appointment. If you arrive more than 15 minuets late, I unfortunately won't have enough time to safely complete the groom and will have to rearrange the appointment. This will be classed as a 'no show' and you will be charged £15 to cover the cost of the used appointment slot. Once the groom is completed, I will contact you and arrange for you to come pick up your dog. If you are late picking up your dog after their groom, you will be a charged an extra £5 for every 15 minuets you are late. Pricing - Prices are estimates only. Additional charges may be incurred due to: the dog's size, coat condition, coat type, temperament, fleas, and certain grooming styles. Senior dogs and dogs with Medical Conditions - Grooming senior dogs or dogs with medical conditions carries a higher risk of stress or injury. By bringing your dog to be groomed, you acknowledge and accept these risks. I recommend discussing any concerns with your veterinarian before booking an appointment. Dog Health and Safety - Your dogs safety and well-being is my top priority. However, grooming can sometimes reveal or aggravate underlying health conditions.. You must inform me of any existing health issues, allergies, or behavioral concerns before your dogs appointment. In the event of a medical emergency during grooming, I will seek immediate veterinary care. You will be responsible for any associated costs. Liability - I strive to provide a safe and professional grooming experience. However, you acknowledge that grooming involves some risk, including minor cuts, skin irritation, or stress to your dog. By booking an appointment, you agree that we are not liable for any injuries, conditions, or complications that may arise during or after the grooming process, provided all reasonable care is taken. Photographs - We may take photos of your dog before, during, or after grooming for promotional purposes. If you prefer your dog not to be photographed, please let me know. Disputes - If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of my service, please let me know immediately so I can address your concerns. By booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
