PAYMENT ~Cash only please for all on court lessons. Coach has change for cash payments available! ~Please bring payment to lesson and hand directly to Coach Shannon prior to lesson beginning so she can provide change if necessary. ~Venmo will only be used for any late cancellation/no-show fees and remote/virtual sessions done by text/phone call/zoom app. CANCELLATION POLICY ~All bookings carry a fee for late cancellation/no show. SoCal charges a court fee of $10.00. To avoid covering that fee cancellations must be made prior to 48 hours of the appointment time. Additionally, If you do not cancel by 6pm the day prior to your lesson you will be charged an additional $30 fee—all fees are payable through Venmo. This is just a common courtesy to cover any inconveniences, time, and money the late cancellation or no-show cause. DISCUSSIONS AND QUESTIONS ~Coach typically has lessons booked back-to-back so if you have questions or need to discuss things please be courteous and do it before your lesson time slot ends thank you! ~Additionally you may book a “30 Minute Question Session” (phone, text, Zoom) to speak to Coach at any time about all things in general about volleyball. COURT AVAILABILITY ~SoCal Volleyball Club typically has all courts filled with team practices (End of August-June) M-F 4:15pm-9:30pm & Saturday and Sunday are not always available either because of practices. There is no availability for private lessons from any of our coaches during those hours. PARENTS/GUARDIANS ~Are required to stay to observe during on-court lessons with minors unless there is another staff member present in the volleyball club at the time of the lesson. If you are not sure if you can leave, please just ask. For 2 players that want to work together but work alone part of the time also! 1 player will attend first— then when the second player arrives we will do 1 hour of work together. The first player leaves while the remaining player works alone.

Game/Video Analysis

Review game footage (player brings with) or video taken during a lesson together at SoCal (Coach Shannon will record) before or after an on-court lesson. If you don’t have your own video, then you will need to book a one hour lesson so that Coach Shannon can record video.

Virtual Learning - 1 Hour-Full Description Below

This session is a Custom Concierge Service on the Zoom App for parents or players Coach can plan a lesson based on players wants or needs. 1. Can be knowledge of the game where players learn terminology, strategy, etc. 2. Can be at home drills (hands-on) for the long distance player that can’t be on court for a private at SoCal. 3. Can be Sports Psychology, mental strength training, visualization, etc. 4. Can be Team Coach interpretation as in what does your team coach want from you, forming personal goals and working towards achievement, etc. 5. Or a mix of all of this, plus answering any questions about the volleyball world.
