Booking Policies & Terms By booking an appointment with Body Rituals, you acknowledge and agree to the following Booking Policies & Terms. These policies are designed to ensure a smooth, professional, and elevated experience for every client. Cancellations & Rescheduling We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide as much notice as possible. (24 hr notice is preferred where possible) * Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with insufficient notice may be subject to a $30 late cancellation fee. * No-shows are subject to a $30 fee. * Body Rituals reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment when necessary. Clients will be notified as soon as reasonably possible. 🚗 Travel & Mobile Booking Policies Complimentary Travel Complimentary mobile travel is included** to services booked within London, Ontario**. Locations beyond the complimentary travel zone are subject to an additional travel fee, which may vary depending on distance. After-Hours & Same-Day Bookings A $30 convenience fee applies to: * Appointments scheduled after 6:00 PM * Same-day booking requests Minimum Mobile Booking To maintain the quality and comfort of your mobile experience, a minimum service booking of 60 minutes or a $100 minimum spend is required for all mobile appointments. Deposits A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment: * In-Studio Appointments: $30 deposit * Mobile Appointments: $50 deposit Your appointment is not considered confirmed until the required deposit has been received. Deposits are applied toward the total cost of your service and are subject to Body Rituals’ cancellation and rescheduling policies. HOW TO PREP FOR YOUR WAX • Please come with minimum 2 weeks of hair growth or the length of a rice grain. • Gently exfoliate the area that will be waxed. • Shower before your appointment. • Discontinue Retinol products 1 week prior to your wax. • Come to your appointment with loose fitted clothing. • Refrain from applying heavy lotions on the area being waxed. • Avoid Caffine/Alcohol or any substances that may affect your normal state of mind before your wax. No extra persons will be allowed during appointment. 🕯️ Preparing for Your Body Ritual (In Studio) To help you get the most out of your Body Rituals experience, please take a few simple steps before your appointment. Before Your Appointment • Arrive or be ready 5–10 minutes early. This allows you time to settle in and complete any necessary intake information without rushing. • Stay hydrated. Drinking water before and after your massage can help support your body’s recovery. • Avoid a heavy meal immediately before your appointment. A light meal or snack is recommended if you are hungry. • Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to change in and out of. • Please avoid applying heavy oils, lotions, or body products immediately before your massage, as they may interfere with the massage experience. • Let your practitioner know about any areas of tension, sensitivity, discomfort, or specific goals you would like addressed during your session. 🏡 Preparing for a Home Visit For mobile appointments, please prepare a clean, quiet, and comfortable space where your massage can take place. • Provide enough room for the massage table to be safely set up and accessed from all sides. • Ensure the area is reasonably clean and free of clutter. • Set the temperature to a comfortable level. • Please secure pets in another room for the duration of your appointment unless otherwise discussed. • You are welcome to create a relaxing atmosphere with dim lighting, candles, music, or aromatherapy, provided that any candles or scents are safe and appropriate for the space. • Please have a clear pathway from the entrance to the massage area so equipment can be brought in safely. Agreement By submitting a booking request and/or paying your deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these policies and terms. Body Rituals reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings that do not comply with these policies.
