About

Hi there! I'm Vanessa, and I'm thrilled you stopped by my website. Here’s a little about me to kick things off: I’m originally from Brazil and arrived in New Zealand as a backpacker with zero English skills. As a kid, I was always in trouble for doodling eyebrows in every book and magazine I could find. I’ve faced my share of challenges, including a diagnosis of Complex PTSD and depression. Over time, I’ve become more open about it and am here to lend an ear if you ever need to talk. I'm a strong believer in Girl POWER and have a growing feminist spirit within me. Oh, and I almost forgot! I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Communications & Advertising and am a certified beauty therapist and cosmetic tattooist. Since 2018, I've been dedicated to making the world a better place, one brow at a time. Now that you know a bit about me, I’d love to get to know you too! Warmly, Vanessa x

Policy and Terms

- Provide at least 48 hours notice to reschedule your appointment. - If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours your are responsible for the 50% cost of your session. - If you cancel your appointment within 12 hours your are responsible for the 100% cost of your session. As cancellation have a significant impact on my business, I need to enforce a cancellation policy and trust you understand my need to do so. Thank you for your continued support.

Velvet Brows - 1st session

Velvet shading is a delicate face tattooing technique that uses a pen machine to place thousands of tiny dots of pigment, inserted into the skin, gradually building up colour and defining shape for your eyebrows. Velvet Brows are 100% customisable and can be made to look sharp or very natural, by not saturating the shape and allowing for a defined yet soft/non solid look. Who is it best for: works with most skin types, including oily or combination skin. Clients come back for colour boosts closer to the 12-18month mark.  If you fill in your brows regularly, had brow hair loss or would like to improve the shape and enhance the colour, Velvet Brows are for you.
