As with all good dog groomers, our story begins with a love of dogs! 

When she was young, Lydia - our Owner and Head Groomer - met her best friend: Tyler, the wonderful Golden Retriever! As they grew up together and Lydia began her studies in dog grooming, not only was Tyler a wonderful and willing client to hone her skills, but he was also her companion to college, where he would show off the tricks he had learned to demonstrate canine training.

In October 2020, the day after Lydia purchased her first grooming salon, her best friend Tyler sadly passed away surrounded by friends and family, two weeks before his fifteenth birthday, and it is in his wonderful memory that Tyler's Dog Grooming bares his name.

RIP Tyler (2005 - 2020).

Toy (Under 5kg) - Miniature Yorkshire Terrier, Chihuahua, Maltese Terrier etc.

Small  (5kg - 10kg) - Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, French Bulldog, Bichon Frise, Border Terrier etc.

Medium (10kg - 25kg) - Border Collie, Bulldog, Beagle, English Cocker Spaniel, Whippet etc.

Large (25kg - 45kg) - Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, Boxers, Airedale Terriers etc.

Extra Large (over 45kg) - English Mastiff, Saint Bernard, Great Dane, Newfoundland, Leonberger, Irish Wolfhound etc.


Which service to pick?

Full Grooms: For Poodles, Doodles, Shih Tzus and all dogs with hair that need an all-over body cut.

De - Shedding Groom: 

Smooth & Short Coat - For Frenchies, Bulldogs, Short hair Jack Russel Terriers and other dogs with Short fur coats that mostly need a bath and brush.

Long & Plush Coats - For Pomeranians, Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, Huskys and dogs that have fur that need most attention on brushing and just a small tidying of their feathers, sanitary and paws.

Bath, Brush & Tidy: For in between full grooms to prevent matting from appearing on dogs with hair.

Puppy Groom (Short hair): For dogs with short fur under 6 months old.

Puppy Groom (Long hair) For dogs that will need full grooms and de-shed grooms in the future, under 5 months old.

Wire-hair handstripping: For Wired-hair dogs like Border Terriers or Wire-haired Pointers that want their hair stripped instead of cut.

Tylers Dog Grooming

All dogs must be up to date with their vaccinations, as well as their fleaing and worming treatments.

We require a valid payment card to complete all bookings. No payment will be taken at the time of booking and our cancellation policy is as follows:

- Clients can cancel or reschedule appointments up to 48 hours before start time with no charge.
- Under 48hrs notice: 50% charge.
- Same day cancellations/no-shows: 100% charge.

If fleas are present at the appointment, the groom will be cancelled at full charge due to the need to close and deep clean the salon.

I have a very needy long haired German shepherd who can look very scruffy and struggles to be left. Took him to Tyler's today and they have done an absolutely amazing job. He was standing there lovely and looked like he was enjoying the pamper. They have done an amazing job! Will definitely recommend to others and be returning. 😊

Second time we have taken our precious ozzy and didn't think it was possible but even better than the first time,cut exactly as I wanted,staff are all so friendly and Ozzy seems very relaxed there.Highly recommend taking your pet here.

Took my Golden Retriever to the groomers for the first time today, and all the staff were so lovely. They were incredibly patient with him as he was really nervous and scared, and I really appreciate how understanding they were when he got frightened. They did an amazing job grooming him and he looks absolutely lovely. I’d definitely recommend them and will definitely be bringing him back. Thank you all so much!

Staff really make my dog feel so at easy & I don't have to worry about her stressing. Always looks & smells better after her visit.

These girls are amazing my old english sheepdog has been groomed by these girls from 16 weeks old she is now 4. I keep her long with a full coat not many groomers can or are willing to groom them. They show alot of love to the dogs and even dogs who have previously gone reluctantly to other groomers don't hesitate to enter their shop. The best groomers
