Hey Im Hollie, the owner of The Groom Room By Hollie, I am a fully qualified dog groomer with a genuine passion for canine care and welfare. I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management and a Level 3 qualification in Dog Grooming and Salon Management, providing me with strong knowledge of dog health, behaviour, and professional grooming standards.

I treat every dog as if they were my own, offering calm, patient, and individual care tailored to each dog’s needs. Whether your dog is nervous, young, or experienced with grooming, their comfort and wellbeing are always my top priority.

I pride myself on maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism, using quality products in a clean and calm salon environment. My aim is to ensure every dog leaves feeling comfortable, well cared for, and looking their best.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Health & Behaviour

·       You confirm your dog is fit to be groomed and that all health or behavioural issues have been disclosed.
·       We reserve the right to refuse or stop a groom if your dog shows signs of aggression, extreme stress, or poses a risk.
·       Owners are responsible for any injury their dog causes to staff or damage to property.

2. Vaccinations, Parasites & Illness

·       Dogs must be up to date with vaccinations and flea/worm treatments. Extra charges apply if fleas or parasites are found. We cannot accept dogs with contagious conditions (e.g., kennel cough, ringworm, infectious skin conditions).

3. Matting & Groom Outcome

·       Severely matted coats may need to be clipped short for welfare reasons, which may expose underlying skin issues and may cause irritation. Additional charges apply for de-matting and for additional time incurred. This will range from £5-£10 extra charge depending on the severity. 

4. Senior Dogs & Medical Conditions

·       Elderly, young, or medically fragile dogs are groomed strictly at the owner’s risk. Grooming may aggravate existing conditions. We do not groom pregnant dogs.

5. Grooming Risks, Emergencies, Cancellations, Lateness

·       While every care is taken, minor nicks, irritation, or stress can occur as an unavoidable part of grooming.
·       In the case of illness, accident, or emergency, we will contact you immediately. If you are unreachable, we may seek veterinary care at your expense.
·       Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.Late arrivals or no-shows may be charged up to 50% of the groom fee.

6. Collection & Salon Etiquette & Payment

·       Dogs must be collected promptly once the groom is complete. Owners will be called 30 minutes before groom is complete
·       Uncollected dogs may incur a care/boarding charge, of £5 every 15 minutes. 
·       Final price may vary depending on coat condition, time taken, and dog behaviour.

7. Photos & Marketing

·       We may take photos of your pet for marketing purposes unless you request otherwise.

8. Insurance & Liability

·       The Groom Room By Hollie is fully insured. We cannot accept liability for injury, illness, loss, or death of a pet unless caused by proven negligence.

9. Data Use

·       Your personal information is kept secure and used only for grooming-related services, reminders, and records in line with data protection law.

Hollie was very patient with my Teddy as isn’t the most welcoming to strangers and gets very stressed when his isn’t with my other dogs. Great groom and he smells amazing!  He is very proud of his bow tie Hollie put on him.

I was very pleased with the groom Hollie gave Benson.  The service was professional, and more importantly, Benson was at ease and looked fabulous following the groom.  I would without doubt recommend Hollie at the Groom Room...!

Amazing experience! Brindy is a rescue from Romania and can be very nervous, but Hollie was calm patient and gentle with her. She came out happy and not frightened at all which means everything to me. Will definitely be our groomer from now on! Highly recommend! 🐾Thank you Hollie !
