My Journey My career began in veterinary training, driven by a lifelong love of science and caring for others. Following the loss of my dog, I felt drawn to redirect my path within healthcare, leading me to human biology and medical aesthetics. I became deeply interested in skin anatomy, tissue healing, and facial structure, which led me to train as a Dental Nurse and Facial Aesthetician. This background strengthened my clinical skills, understanding of facial anatomy, infection control, and patient care. I qualified to post graduate level in Aesthetic Practice and currently expanding my academic journey to Master’s level in Adult Nursing. By booking and attending an appointment at The Ivy Skin Clinic, you agree to the following: Medical Consultation & Consent All clients must complete a full medical history form and attend a consultation prior to treatment. Written informed consent must be signed before any procedure is carried out. It is the client’s responsibility to disclose all medical conditions, medications and previous treatments. The clinic reserves the right to decline treatment if deemed unsuitable or unsafe. Patient Safety & Results All treatments are performed following clinical assessment and professional medical standards. Results vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed. Clients must follow all pre- and post-treatment advice provided. Refunds, Deposits & Pricing All treatments and services are strictly non-refundable due to the medical nature of procedures, practitioner time and products used. Deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation or no-show. If you reschedule using the booking link provided, your deposit will automatically transfer to your new appointment. In the event of a concern, clients must contact the clinic for clinical assessment. Any complimentary review, corrective treatment or goodwill gesture is offered entirely at the discretion of the practitioner and subject to individual clinical circumstances. Cancellations A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Serious or exceptional circumstances will be considered at the practitioner’s discretion. Pre-Appointment Guidance To ensure safety and optimal treatment outcomes, clients must: • Attend without makeup • Stay well hydrated before and after • Eat a substantial meal prior to attending • Avoid caffeine 3 hours before treatment • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior • Avoid ibuprofen for 24 hours prior • Provide a full list of current medications • Inform the practitioner if flying within the next 14 days (dermal filler treatment may not be suitable) Failure to follow pre-treatment guidance may result in treatment being postponed. Appointment Arrival & Clinic Access Upon arrival, please wait outside the back gate located at the bottom of the driveway and call the clinic number to be let in. Please do not arrive before your scheduled appointment time. If early, kindly remain in your vehicle. Parking is available for one vehicle on the driveway or along Darenth Lane (left-hand side). Additional parking is available at Tesco Riverhead or Majestic Wines on London Road. Guests, Children & Pets If bringing a guest, please inform the practitioner in advance so suitable seating can be arranged. Children are not permitted in the clinic.
