Neglected / Matted Coats
We practice humanity before vanity. Should a dog be presented with a matted or neglected coat, if our opinion is that it will be kinder to shave the coat back completely, this will be done in compliance with The Animal Welfare Act 2006 (Sec 5. – Animals are to be protected from pain, injury, and suffering) This incurs extra charges due to time and extra wear and tear on equipment.
In instances where the above is necessary, it can lead to skin irritation and other conditions. On some breeds the coat may not grow back in the same manner. The Lucky Pup Boutique and its staff will not be liable for any effects which may arise from this.
Aggressive or Poorly Socialised Dogs
We reserve the right to refuse to groom any dog if we believe it may cause injury to itself or any members of staff at our Salon. If a dog exhibits aggression or behaviour we have not been informed of prior to the groom, the session will be stopped immediately, and the full fee incurred.
We must be informed prior to grooming of any previous history of biting or aggression. Your attention is drawn to the dangerous dogs’ act which holds owners liable for bites and Injuries.
Please toilet your dog before attending their appointment to avoid any accidents.
Grooming Feedback
After each session we will inform you of any problems we have encountered, or any concerns we have regarding your dog. This is the time to inform us of any concerns you have in relation to the groom. The majority of our business is repeat custom, and we wish to maintain our standards and reputation. We often take pictures to show examples of before and after work and to use for training and information. Should you not wish photos of your dog to appear on social media please inform us at the time of the groom. We also ask that should you have a problem; we are approached prior to any negative reviews being left on social media so if they are able to be resolved.

Loki loves going to get groomed by Shannon. Great one on one experience for Loki to be cleaned.

Really pleased with Minnie’s first cut. Thank you

Handled Axel with great patience and care as our shepherd does not normally like being touched in certain areas. At the end Axel looked fantastic, looking handsome and groomed to perfection. Thank you for your hard you did a great job. Thank you.

Not only does my dog become transformed into a fresh smelling, squeaky clean and shiny pooch, he’s treated with kindness and love by Shannon.
No wonder we keep going back for more!

Shannon was really good with Toby for his first groom, he didn’t want to leave and he is now a bundle of fur. Excellent service

Would highly recommend Shannon. Our dog was so nervous of groomers after a previous negative experience. Shannon took the time to interact with him and even got in the bath with him on his first visit. He’s now happier to go and always comes back looking, and smelling, amazing.

Shannon puts my dog at ease as she can stress when left. She gives the best groom my dog has ever had. She looks so pretty when I collect her and so happy and relaxed. It is a wonderful personal service where all her time is devoted to your dog

Very good with " bobs" even though he refused a bath today.
You can tell Shannon loves her job and the dogs she tends to.
We'll definitely take him there again.🧟

Thank you again for being so brilliant with my excitable labrador! He thoroughly enjoyed his visit and we’ve booked again already!

Excellent experience - amber loves going for a pamper and comes home smelling fabulous and looking great.
Shannon is such a personable and friendly girl with great dog experience and talent for making dogs look their best. I would thoroughly recommend.

Great to find Shannon (again), after going to her at her previous employer. Now she’s running Lucky Pup and it’s great to find someone local, talented and reasonably priced. Getting to know dog and owner, so she can provide a caring and individual service.

Always an excellent service and the most beautiful groom. Thank you Aunty Shannon. Love Bella xx 🐶

Lucky pup boutique is the most friendliest and very professional groomers, All your dogs needs are cared for.
Truly a 5 Star business.
Shannon deserves a 10 out of 10 for her love of her work and all her affection to your dog.

Shannon is a most friendly lady who always puts my dog at his ease. You can tell she has a genuine love of dogs. As usual, Ziggy my Labrador looked clean and shiny and smelt beautifully fresh after his session with Shannon. Thank you so much.

Albie went for his first nail trim today, he was a little nervous. Shannon got down to his level and gave him a good fuss so he was more comfortable.
I’m really happy with the results and knowledge Shannon passed on. 10/10

Hi Albert came out looking like a little lamb after his grooming session, he needed a short one with the weather we have been having. He loves his visits to Shannon and she always gives the best advice.
