This helps me prep for their visit and give them the best, most comfortable spaw day possible! 🛁✂️ I Do request AT LEAST 24hrs advance notice for cancelations. 📢🐾 Important Policy Reminder from The Groom Saloon 🐾📢 For the safety of both your pets and myself, I require written proof that your dog is up to date on their rabies vaccine before their appointment. Not only is this for safety — a rabies vaccine is also state law — but it’s essential protection in the event of a bite. In the unfortunate event that I would need to seek medical attention for a dog bite, it is very important that the dog is up to date on vaccines. This ensures proper medical treatment can be given and helps protect everyone involved. As a one-on-one grooming shop, I do not require Bordetella or Parvo vaccines, though I highly recommend them for your dog’s health and protection. ⚠️ If your dog does not have an updated rabies vaccine, I cannot take them in — this is for safety reasons, especially if a dog were to bite. 🐕 Bite Policy 🐕 If a dog does bite me and draw blood, I must cancel the groom immediately for my safety. I understand that stress or recent changes in a dog’s environment can impact their behavior, so I am willing to try again at a later date — once stress levels have settled — but with additional precautions in place. 🚫 I do not take aggressive dogs, as my focus is on providing a calm, safe, and positive grooming experience for every client.
