Spray Tan Prep

Before Your Appointment
• Please have all beauty treatments done before your spray tan, including hair, nails, facials, waxing, and body treatments. These can exfoliate or disturb your skin and may cause your tan to fade or look uneven.
• Exfoliate with an exfoliating mitt (not a loofah) at least 24 hours before your appointment
• Shave at least 24 hours before
• Arrive with clean skin free of lotion, deodorant, perfume, and makeup

👉 Coming from work? No worries! I provide wipes to remove deodorant, lotion, or makeup before your appointment.

During Your Appointment
• We’ll choose the perfect shade together based on your skin tone and goals
• We’ll decide whether a Rapid or Classic solution is best for you
• Wear as much or as little as you’re comfortable with; disposable undergarments are available
• I provide everything needed to protect your hair, hands, and nails
• Wear loose, dark clothing after your appointment

After Your Appointment
• Spray tans typically last 7–10 days and can last up to 2 weeks with proper care
• Moisturize daily and consider using a tan extender for longer-lasting results
• Avoid excessive swimming, hot baths, and long showers
• Temporary transfer onto clothing or sheets may occur but washes out easily

• Choose from gel strengths ranging from 16% to 25%
• We can use any combination of strengths across your sessions, based on your goals and comfort
• For best results, 2–3 sessions are recommended per appointment and it usually takes 3 to 10 sessions to get 10 shade whiter.
