Rooted Beauty By Chloe establishes the following terms for clients. The intention of these terms/policies is not to punish but rather protect the success of business/business owner. They establish trust, mutual respect, reliability and fair treatment for all involved and ensures successful outcomes. Clients may request a paper copy of all terms and policies for their own records. A signed waiver is required for new clients, acknowledging the risks involved in beauty services. Clients are responsible to review terms and policies and therefore assume liability for any and all services provided including the acceptance of risks involved. Client is held responsible for further clarification of risks and procedures with freedom to ask questions according to their needs. These terms and policies apply to every client regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, social status or relations to the business. Guests/Kids: Client may choose to bring no more than one guest to their appointment unless otherwise approved due to unique circumstance. No children under the age of 12 may come during the appointment as there are hazards in the studio and no childcare available to ensure their safety. Services require limited distractions to client during appointment to provide optimal results and performance on the end of the service provider. Age Restrictions/Guardian Permissions: Clients under the age of 18 require a signed waiver from their adult guardian/parent. Clients under the age of 16 require a guardian/parent to be present during the appointment. If age is not disclosed and services are performed on a minor, no legal action can be permitted against the business or business owner. Cancellation: Clients may cancel or reschedule appointments up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. In the event of emergencies or extenuating circumstances the fee does have potential to be waived; otherwise, if appointment is canceled after the 24 hour window prior to appointment the client is responsible to pay a late cancellation fee of $25 USD within 30 days of receipt of invoice. If the service provider/stylist must cancel the appointment for any reason within the late cancellation window, the client will receive a courtesy $25 USD off the service upon rescheduling. Late Arrival: Late arrival to appointment time beyond 15 minutes may be subject to reschedule unless the business has leverage to accommodate depending on service time requirements and the plans proceeding afterward. If client arrives 15 or more minutes late, the late cancellation fee of $10 USD per 15-minute increments applies and will be applied to the service total at the conclusion of the appointment. An alternative option is completing whatever is left of the appointment time if it is possible without rushing through important procedures to maintain the safety and success of the client and service provider. On the other hand, if the service provider/stylist is running 15 minutes late or longer for any reason they may receive a discounted cost of $10 USD per 15-minute increments on their service as a courtesy for your patience with changing circumstances. No-Show: Client no-shows (meaning appointment time passes without confirmed communication from the client to the business directly, and leaves the business unable to service other clients) will result in a fee of 50% of the missed service cost in USD and is to be paid within 30 days following receipt of the invoice. Communication: Appointment confirmation via text message is greatly appreciated to keep the business running smoothly. Constructive and honest feedback is welcome to further improve business operations. If the client experiences concerns or issues they are responsible to inform the business the opportunity to make it right otherwise the business is released of responsibility for client dissatisfaction. Repeated lack of communication/no-shows may risk client termination. Repeated late cancellations (1 no show and/or 2 late cancellations) will result in deposit for every future appointment. Payment for Services: Payment for services is due upon completion, with installment options available via Klarna. Quotes provided prior to appointment consultation are an estimate and subject to change and agreed upon between client and stylist at the time of consultation. Tips are greatly appreciated but not mandatory. Non-working days/personal holidays may be available upon request though subject to an additional $10/hour fee. Safety & Wellness: According to Salon MSDS requirements and intention to preserve safety of the stylist and safety of the client, it is required that product used during service is that what is provided in the place of business. No products purchased by the client outside of the appointment may be used to achieve and maintain the professional standard held within our business. Sanitation and disinfectant procedures are regularly performed to further ensure cleanliness and prevention of disease and infection. In the event of sickness of client or service provider, appointment may be rescheduled if symptoms interfere or if contagiousness poses risk (i.e. fever, vomiting, persistent cough, nausea, diarrhea, etc) In some cases a mask may allow service to be performed. Please contact service provider if you are unsure of whether or not your circumstances apply. Clothing: Services risk temporary or long-term damage due to the use of substances and chemicals required to perform the procedures. Please do not wear your favorite clothing. Wear something you aren’t worried about getting ruined despite our efforts to protect your personal items/clothing. Clients assume responsibility of lost or damaged personal items. Parking policy: Clients are permitted to park in my driveway at building K lot 203 if it is available and vehicle is registered. If it is unavailable, please park in permitted parking zones only or you are subject at your own risk to the danger of being towed and any fees and requirements that come with such outcome. Rooted Beauty is not to be held liable for said risk and/or outcome but is committed to support clients in making their appointment arrival and departure smooth. Questions pertaining to permitted parking can be asked at any time. In the event of client dissatisfaction: The business cannot issue refunds, however, if there is a problem or dissatisfaction the client may contact the business within 7 days of the appointment to schedule a follow-up and receive a complimentary re-do/repair service at zero cost to the client. Repeated dissatisfaction with results may subject the business to refer client elsewhere to find a better fit for client expectations. The goal is always the best outcome for everyone involved! I greatly value each of my clients and hope to build and maintain healthy relations between us. :)
