To ensure the best experience for all clients and to maintain the highest standard of work, please take a moment to read through the following policies before booking.

Appointments:
Rita Marie Hair operates strictly by appointment only. No walk-ins are accepted.

Bookings & Deposits:
All appointments require a deposit to secure your booking. By booking, you agree to all salon policies listed below.

Cancellations & Rescheduling:
Cancellations or rescheduling within 72 hours of your appointment may result in the loss of your deposit. This allows adequate time to fill your appointment and respect other clients on the waitlist.

Consultations:
For major colour changes (including dark to blonde or corrective work), a consultation may be required prior to your appointment. This ensures we can safely achieve your desired result and allocate the correct time.

Timing & Appointments:
Please arrive on time to your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a reduced service time or rescheduling if there is not enough time to complete your service properly.

Colour Services Disclaimer:
By booking a colour service, you acknowledge that all chemical services (including lightening/bleach) alter the structure of the hair. While every precaution is taken to maintain the integrity of your hair, results can vary depending on your hair history and condition.

Lightening services may leave the hair feeling drier, and multiple sessions may be required to achieve your desired result safely.

Realistic Expectations:
I pride myself on delivering high-quality results while maintaining the health of your hair. However, not all results can be achieved in one session. Safe, realistic results are always prioritised over rushed or damaging processes.

Pricing:
All prices are a starting guide and may vary depending on hair length, thickness, and previous colour history. Final pricing will be confirmed during your consultation.

Public Holiday & Surcharge:
A surcharge may apply on public holidays or peak periods.

Payments:
Payments can be made via cash (preferred), card/tap, or Afterpay.

Aftercare Responsibility:
Proper aftercare is essential to maintain your results. I recommend using professional, sulphate-free products and regular treatments to keep your hair healthy and your colour looking its best.

Respect & Right to Refuse Service:
I maintain a respectful and professional environment. I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services where I feel the client’s expectations are not aligned with what can be safely achieved.

Fantastic experience with Rita! Welcoming and warm, with exceptional expertise on colour. Returning to blonde after a 18 month break and two lots of box dye, Rita did an incredible of job correcting the colour,  while protecting the condition of my hair. So pleased with the end results!

Finally!! I have found an amazing hairdresser. I have tried so many salons, only to be left disappinted time and time again. I can now stop my search. Rita is so friendly and professional. She takes the time to listen and can match any photo you show her. Rita is a perfectionist and very reasonably priced compared to many other hairdressers who claim to know what they're doing, however do no take the time to really care. I drive 40 min to see Rita and it's definitely worth it. Thank you Rita x
