Any information I should know before drop off of your dog? Please add a picture, and please feel free to send me a picture of how you want your dog groomed.

Additional information

Hi! It’s Emily, I’ve been grooming for 12 years. I specialize in grooming dogs who are shy, scared, fear aggressive, or unsure of the grooming process. A lot dogs I groom are rescue dogs.

I offer the first groom free for any dog adopted from a rescue or shelter or any dog that is being fostered from a shelter.

I groom one-on-one. If you have multiple dogs in the same household, you can bring all of them at once. This just means that your dog or dogs will be the only dogs here for grooming.

I started this business 6 years ago. In those 6 years thanks to amazing clients , Ive won 7 awards.

I am certified in pet CPR and first aid.

When you drop off, you might hear my personal dogs barking. All rescues, and all very good with other dogs. They won't be around your dog or dogs. They stay in a separate area while grooming.🐶

Please let me know within 12 hours in advance to reschedule or cancel your appointment.

All clients will need to prebook their next appointment. If you could please book your next appointment while booking the current one, or book it before you pick up from your current appointment it would be appreciated. Please prebook for at least every 8-12 weeks. You can also prebook as many appointments as you want, I have the whole year opened up, so you can.

All doodles will need to get on a 4-6 week booking schedule , if you are keeping the hair longer than 2 inches. This is to prevent matting, and also save you money.

All prices have been raised for anyone who isn't prebooking.

Thank you! I am looking forward to seeing you and your pup❤️

Great customer service. Sadie always looks so cute, fresh, and neatly groomed. Good job Emily 👏🏾

Absolutely amazing experience! Our Mini Bernedoodle, Millie, loved the care that Emily gave her. We won’t go anywhere else now! She even gave us an adorable photo as part of the session. Highly recommended!!!

She did such a wonderful job! My sweet boy looks and smells great! Definitely found our furever groomer

Emily is always so friendly.
And although my fur baby is now an old man and gets a bit anxious and cranky, he still comes home handsome.

Love knowing my dog is in good hands and will be treated with kindness. Emily always does a great job, and is very punctual!

Emily did a good job, especially since I found out both of my dogs have anxiety issues. Which I didn’t realize.

Emily always does a great job and our little Oreo gets so excited that he gets to go see her. Emily has the kindest heart and shows it by giving back to the community by giving rescue dogs free grooming so they stand a better chance of being adopted. Give Emily your business! You won't regret it.

Luna and Harry always come home looking perfect!

Emily was great with my anxious girl, very communicative and friendly when it came to her limitations and how to work around them. Would 10/10 recommend!

Emily does a wonderful job with our little Charlie! He always comes out looking so fluffy and fresh with a big smile!

You can tell she truly loves what she does.

Highly recommend.

Emily does such a great job with my King Charles spaniels. It is so nice not to have to leave them all day but just an hour or two. They certainly are happier this way.

As always, Emily did a great job with Rusty! I highly recommend her for your grooming needs!

Another amazing summer cut on a highly sensitive Shi-tsu. Thank you for making him look and feel amazing once again. 💝🐾

First time I have taken our Woodle to a groomer when he wasn’t nervous. She did a great job on him

I’ve had Emily as a groomer for many years. She is always the absolute best and the fur babies love her (which is the most important). Wonderful as always!!

This is the dog groomer I’ve been looking for. Very happy that I found her.

Thank you for another beautiful grooming for our Labradoodle! 🩷🩷🩷

Harry came out less hairy. Emily is always great with our dogs.

Emily was thoughtful and caring of our 16 year old boy. She took good care of him and made sure he was comfortable throughout the whole experience. I highly recommend her to anyone needing their pups groomed!!

I love the fact that my dog showed no anxieties before or after the grooming. Emily is lovely and does an excellent job!

My Kingston loves Emily! Emily is the only person I trust to take care of him with grooming. He always looks amazing and happy when she gets done!

Emily is great to work with! She did a great job grooming our Cavapoo! We’ll definitely be back!

So glad I found Emily for my 6 year old Lhasa Teddy. She communicates before, during and after the grooming. Wow! She only takes one at a time so your pet doesn’t get stressed waiting in a pen. It also means that the grooming is done quickly. She even sent a picture of Teddy looking dapper in his Route 66 bandanna to let me know he was ready. I can’t say enough good things about Emily and her 5 star service. Thank you Emily.

She was excellent and very professional! I am definitely using her again!

Cooper always looks great after his grooming! Emily does an awesome job!

Emily is the BEST groomer to our Duke and Ruby! ❤️

Recommended by friends and could not be more pleased with Jefferson’s first schnauzer cut! Go Emily, u nailed it!

Emily was wonderful with my rescue dog. Daisy looks great and actually has improved in her confidence. I think she knows she is pretty!

Emily was easy to schedule with, very communicative and on-time. My Great Pyrenees foster was matted, didn't smell good and definitely nervous, but she came out white, fluffy, smelling beautiful and happy.
Thank you Emily💕

This lady is amazing. My normally ill-tempered dog is so chilled out with her and he looks wonderful.

Beautiful experience, 100% satisfied, my granddaughter and I just Love the work Emily did to our two collie/ausie mix. So So Happy and so we're they!!!! Diffently Well worth it!

This was our first experience with Emily and she did so great. We are very happy with our pups new hair cut plus she smells amazing!!

She does. Great job. My dog isn’t stressed. And she doesn’t take a Long time with him.

It was our first visit. My doodle looks the best she ever has. My dog is a little shy and she immediately loved Emily and was excited to go with her.

Emily took in my 200+ lb. Great Dane Ruger with no hesitation and did an excellent job bathing, grooming and clipping his nails and he loves her!!!!! I have a lab mix and some Schnoodles that will be visiting her very soon. She kept me updated on Ruger’s progress and took some very professional pictures of him while he was there. She is my new favorite person and I am so happy I found her❤️

Emily is always happy to see my little dog Sophie and the feeling is mutual. Sophie is a little rescue that needs extra attention and I know Emily always gives it to her! I recommend Emily to all my dog loving friends❤️

Friendly, professional, experienced. You can’t really ask for more than that! Highly recommended!

Emily is hands down the best groomer I have been to! If you are not taking your dog to her, you are missing now. She puts so much time attention and love into taking care of your pet! Wish I would’ve found her sooner.

Super kind and had no problem with my large dog, Emily did so great! Will def be back

My puppy is nervous around other people but Emily did great with her!!! When I dropped her off she was nervously shaking but by the time I came back she was happy and not shaking at all!! Emily did great cutting her hair 💗💗 The only minor thing is that her nails were cut but not filed so they’re a bit sharp but it’s no biggie!

Emily did a great job!! She is super friendly and the dogs loved her. The haircuts look great, and she even took cute photos of them. We will be going back!

Emily is great with are dogs and they love her.

Absolutely loved our experience! Emily was so patient, gentle, and attentive with my pet. You can tell she truly care about animals. My pet came back clean, happy, and looking amazing. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a groomer they can trust.

Markie’s a mess! We got behind brushing due to a move and illness, and we needed help! She loves being outside playing (at eleven years old!) and can be a stinky girl at times. My sister recommended Emily for taking care of our hairy mess.
Markie is clean, well groomed, softest hair, and a happy girl!
I’m grateful for Emily!

Emily is amazing! She did a phenomenal job on our girl! This is the first time our girl has been groomed by Emily and she looks beautiful and smells wonderful. This is the best grooming experience we’ve EVER had anywhere. Thank you Emily!! Merry Christmas and God bless!

Emily is an amazing person—very sweet and always listens carefully to how you want your fur baby groomed. She takes her time and always gets the job done right. My fur baby, King, always looks amazing after his groom. I highly recommend Emily!

Great job by Emily. Arlo looks very handsome and seemed very chill after his visit.

Emily always takes the greatest care to make sure that our babies have the best experience while being groomed in a peaceful environment!

Emily does a fantastic job! She listens to what you want and gives great suggestions if you are unsure. My doodle loved her. I definitely plan to return!

Our puppy looks adorable and Emily is the nicest! Definitely recommend her!

Emily is so sweet! Our 3 rescue dogs look and smell so good. Love the bandanas and the cute photos. Very efficient! Highly recommend her!

Emily is absolutely fantastic!!! She was definitely one of my best finds for caring for my Marley girl since moving here from FL. Not only does she do great work and my dog actually loves her, but she is really quick too! Previous groomer in FL took over 2hrs. Emily takes an hour and does better work. I highly recommend Professional Pet Grooming By Emily!!!!

Wow. I don't know where to begin because this young lady does such an amazing job grooming. First, she is easy to book with, my dogs hopped out of the car, and went into her home with pause. She doesn't kennel them and she works quickly and does such a thorough job. She is professional, warm and kind, which my dogs picked up on right away. She keeps you posted on her progress, and any issues that may arise. She let's you know 30 min. in advance when they will be done and the price. Amazi

Thank you Emily for loving on Sadie! She looks and smells great.

10/10 Emily always does an amazing job on both my doggies ❤️

Emily did such a wonderful job. Our dog can be a challenge as he was backyard bred and has behavior problems, but Emily got him all taken care of and removed any matting that he got during the time we spent searching for a new and affordable groomer. He smells great, looks so handsome, and he is so much happier. We look forward to bringing him again and again!

Always professional and great with my boy!

What a wonderful experience! Our old little guy went in looking unkempt and messy. When Emily brought him out, was beautifully groomed , had on his little bow tie and was ready to go out for a night on the town.

What a talented groomer (stylist, really)!

I feel completely confident in leaving little Thor in very safe hands.

So happy to have found Emily!

Emily was able to get us in quickly and did a great job grooming our ShihTzu who was way past due for a groom. Very happy with her service , and she was so nice. Thank you Emily ❤️

She made the whole process quick and easy. My rescue-pet looks really cute now, and smells better

Emily is the best, she does an amazing job with my dogs, I highly recommend her services.🩷

I am an old smelly boy and get a seldomn seen pep in my step when I go visit Ms. Emily. Emily does her magic and not only do I look and feel good after, I smell good! I would recommend her to all my canine friends and so would my Parents.

Emily always does a great job with Peppy, our Shih tzu, he’s all boy and hates getting a bath and a haircut but Emily manages him during this process quite professionally. Thank you so much.👌

I’ve been bringing my dogs to Emily at Professional Dog Grooming for nearly 15 years, and she’s the only groomer I trust completely. Years ago, one of my dogs was injured elsewhere and became terrified of grooming, but Emily’s patience, gentleness, and genuine love for animals rebuilt that trust. Since then, she has handled countless foster dogs for me, including those with special needs or behavioral issues, always treating them with compassion and care. Emily is the absolute best choice.

Amazing groomer. My Daizee actually let her groom her and I didn’t figure she would let her. Pepe also let her groom him. Would highly recommend Emily.

Emily always does a great job with Arlo. I am so grateful for her.

Emily does a great job and I love that my dogs don’t have to be in a crate all day waiting. They are in and out in a couple of hours and they are the only dogs she attends to while they’re there.

Did a great job grooming our anxious girl. First time getting groomed and she seemed so happy afterwards!!

Emily is the best groomer in the state! She takes the time to know your dog so your dog feels comfortable with her. We have been going to her over a year now and we recommend her to everyone! LOVE HER!

Emily was amazing! Molly smelled so good and she was so soft. I’m super surprised Molly was calm enough to get the grooming done! We appreciate you!

Great experience!! Very fast service. Amazing customer service!!! Emily is The Best.

Best experience for my dog. Emily is super sweet and does a superb job. Top notch, hands down. We will be going back again and again.

Emily always does an amazing job with our Phoebe Wallingford! We appreciate how our dog is always excited to see Emily and comes home happy as well! 💕

Emily always does a great job with our little rescue, Gonzo. We even get cute pictures before I pick him up. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a great one-on-one groomer.
