Paws for thought is a pet groomers only we do not groom show dogs
For a full standard breed clip please contact the salon as they require more time and some breeds we no longer do

Early morning 7am appointments are available but cannot be booked online and must be paid in full at the time of making a booking, this is a full price service with a £20.00 add on charge. This is a non refundable service, should you cancel or turn up more than 15 mins late 

Please note the salon works on appointment only system so my be closed when no appointments are booked in 
All customer who book online will receive a 5% discount 


Please turn up on time for your appointment, if you are early for your appointment  DO NOT ENTER if the is still a dog being groomed, if you are more than 15 minutes late we may not be able to groom your pet but you will still be charged.

Terms and Conditions
Appointments and Cancellations
Customers must provide a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment
Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee of 50% to 100% of the advertised grooming fee, or forfeiture of a deposit (if applicable)
Late arrivals of more then 15 minutes may require rebooking and will be treated as a missed appointment

Customer Data and Privacy
Paws for thought will collect and store customer and pet information for the purpose of providing a grooming service
Customer date will be held on our booking site, iPad and iPhone this will include your name, home address email and phone number.

Health and Safety
Customers must inform Paws for thought of any medical or behavioural issues prior to the appointment
If the Dog/Cat becomes aggressive or overly distressed, grooming may be pause or terminated for safety reasons

Liability
While every care is taken, Paws for thought is not liable for any pre-existing conditions or reactions arising from grooming
In the event of an emergency Paws for thought will seek veterinary care.The customer agrees to cover related costs.

Payment
Payment is due at the end of each appointment unless otherwise agreed. Payment method card
Additional charges may apply for matted coats, fleas or extended grooming time which includes late collection times

Love taking my cocker spaniel to Graham. He isn’t the easiest dog to groom due his nervousness, but Graham always does an amazing job and my pooch always appears very settled when I collect him. 
Would highly recommend as booking online is very simple, you can choose your day/time to suit, and the cut is always perfect.

Graham is so good with both our dogs, Aurora is 30 months & full of energy & he handled her extremely well. She doesn’t like being bathed & somehow Graham made it fun for her. 
I would highly recommend him to anyone who struggles with bathing there pooches, it makes life so much easier !

Excelleny service yet again and highly recommended. Dog looks so much better.

Old, rough haired, farm dog, very nervous as not used to town or people, other than family. Graham always handles her firmly and competently. She relaxes eventually, comes out clean and tidy, as well as cooler, with most of her matted under coat removed. Also, her claws were overgrown which he trimmed with no objections from her.
She is quite happy when he is finished and not in anyway phased by the experience.

We are always very pleased with Molly's visit to Paws for Thought, Graeme does a nice cut for Molly and she always comes out happy. We have used Paws for Thought for many many years and wouldn't use anyone else to make our Molly look beautiful and we would recommend them. Thank you. 

We have a Field Spaniel that is lovely but really hates being groomed - so much so that she has previously struggled to find a groomer to stick with. Graham is the only groomer that has been able to make her feel comfortable. The online booking system is easy and convenient and we would highly recommend him to anyone.

I enjoy my pampered sessions and know that my humans trust Graham to make sure I am safe and having a nice time 🤗

Handled our ragdoll cat great and did a great job cutting his nails and giving him a hygiene cut. Graham was brilliant and will certainly be back

I have been using Graham for 7-8 years with both my old dog and my very timid new dog. Jess is a very wary Collie, who won't let me bath or groom her, but whenever I go to pick her up she is relaxed and comfortable and most importantly clean. Would highly recommend.
