Hi! I’m Ján Matušek, a soft tissue and massage therapist committed to patient-centred care. I graduated in Slovakia in 2004 and have been living in York since 2006. At MyReset, based at Roko Health Club, I offer a variety of tailored treatments designed to meet each patient’s unique needs. With 20 years of experience across multiple practices, I’m dedicated to providing the best possible care, as reflected in the many positive reviews from my clients. With a demand for services (and only so many hours in the day) I expanded the team in 2024 ensuring they match MyReset quality of service. I've suffered with pains in my legs for the last year, with no joy from the doctor or with the x-ray and MRI scans. I had a recommendation to visit Jan and I'm very impressed. Although not 100% pain free there is a definite improvement in my legs .  I've arranged to visit once a month and the second visit was just as beneficial as the first. Jan is very professional and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him.

 Training for a marathon and picked up an Injury. Was told Jan is the best around.

His technique on my back was exceptional. he located and released deep tension with real expertise, and the pressure was perfect throughout.The room was beautifully calm with lovely relaxing music, which made it easy to fully switch off. Just finished with Yan. I'm amazed by his knowledge and  instantly knowing what was wrong from my symptoms.  He then advised me moving forward what to do. And even helped with weight training on how to help me move forward. 

I had a sports massage as part of my post‑shoulder‑surgery recovery, and it was excellent. They took real care to understand my limitations and worked thoughtfully around the surgical area. The massage was skilled, gentle where needed, and genuinely helped ease the tension. I left feeling much more comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone recovering from injury.
