Every Client will be asked to read and agree to Mutt Naked Policy Agreement prior to any grooming services being performed. Client hereby entrusts pet(s) to Mutt Naked for the purpose of grooming services.
PAYMENT INFO:
Payment is due at the time of service or upon booking for any and all deposits. Fees must be paid before any further service is provided. Mutt Naked accepts cash, card, zelle, cashapp, or tap to pay. 
CANCELLATION POLICY / NO SHOW / TRIP FEE:
If you cannot keep your appointment, please call or text Mutt Naked at least 49 hours or more in advance (757-800-9307).We understand there are emergency situations and will work with you, but not on a continued basis. Last minute cancellations within 48 hours are subject to pay up to 50% of total service price per scheduled pet or no shows and cancelations within 24 hours will be subject to pay up to 100% of total cost of services per scheduled pet.All scheduled multiple pet clients, who may decide not to groom one of their pets at the last moment (within 48 hours), WILL be responsible for 100% of total service cost per pet removed from scheduled apointment. Ultimately it is the clients responsibility to keep track of their scheduled appointments, However Mutt Naked will make a courtesy phone call or text two-business days and 1 hour ahead of your apointment to confirm and remind you. If you are a first time client and you are a no show when the groomer arrives for your scheduled appointment, Mutt Naked will not schedule any future appointments until the no show fee is paid. On rare occasions, Mutt Naked may need to cancel your appointment due to equipment failure, weather, illness, etc. Every effort will be made to contact you in advance and to reschedule your appointment ASAP.
APPOINTMENT TIMES
An appointment time is truly an ‘estimated time of arrival’. As a mobile service, our schedule is subject to interruptions and delays, such as, but not limited to: Refueling, traffic, driving distance from previous appointment and running over on a previous appointment. If Mutt Naked feels they will be more than 15 minutes early or late, Mutt Naked may call or text ahead.
COMPLETION TIME:
A typical pet groom can be completed in 1.5 to 3 hours from the time of your appointment. If your pet has behavior issues or skin and coat problems, it will likely take longer. If you have time restraints, we are happy to work with you as much as possible.
OWNER CANNOT BE HOME FOR APPOINTMENT:
First time clients must be home during the entire appointment. Established clients can be away during an appointment, but the 
groomer must be informed and be in agreement with any plans.

PRE-WALKING YOUR PET FOR FULL BATHROOM BREAKS PRIOR TO SERVICES & RE-WASH FEES POLICY:
It is required that clients walk their dogs fully prior to their service appointment to fully relieve themselves. Understanding considerations are given to young puppies still being house trained and geriatric pets who have accidents, but we still highly encourage a long walk prior to services. Due to the time required to re-wash and re-blow-out to dry hair/fur, use additional salon products, clean up, and considering the other clients unfairly behind schedule waiting, we do charge additional fees if a pet has an accident and requires re-bathing services. For pets with chronic issues in this department it may be advised to skip the meal prior to grooming services and feed after they are completed.
HEALTH AND SAFETY:
Your pet’s safety comesfirst at Mutt Naked. Should a medical issue arise during the groom, Mutt Naked will contact the owner first. If the owner is not available, we will attempt to contact the pet’s veterinarian.
CURRENT VACCINATIONS / VETERINARY INFORMATION / MEDICAL ISSUES:
Any medical issues must be disclosed so that the groomer can take the best care of your pet. We require the name of your veterinarian and proof of vaccination before any grooming services will be performed. Dogs need to be current on Rabies, DHLPP (distemper, parvovirus) and Bordetella. MATTED OR NEGLECTED COAT:
Owners should keep their pets on a regular grooming schedule with mid-grooming upkeep to prevent matting. We can work with you to assure you have the tools and information necessary to keep your pet in good condition between appointments. Excessive de-matting is a painful, time-consuming and costly procedure that causes extreme discomfort and can aggravate, or cause skin problems. Ultimately the ability to save a pet’s coat will depend on the severity of the matting, and the tolerance and health of the pet. We may have to give your pet a shave down to remove mats. In some severe cases of matting we will recommend that the pet be referred to a veterinarian for mat/pelt removal. Heavy matting traps moisture near the pet’s skin which can cause mold, fungus, bacteria, skin irritations and open sores that exist prior to the grooming process. Removing heavy mats includes the risk of nicks, cuts and/or abrasions due to moles, warts or skin folds trapped in the mats. De-matting and shave downs can cause problems after grooming such as clipper/brush irritation, itchiness, skin redness, self-inicted irritations or abrasions, and failure of hair to re-grow properly.Closely shaved pets are prone to sunburn & should be kept out of the sun until the hair grows suciently to protect the skin. In some cases, pets may also exhibit brief behavioral changes.
SAFETY / DOG BEHAVIOR:
Client must inform us prior to grooming if your pet has bitten someone or has aggressive tendencies.If false accusations about the pet’s behavior were made when asked during booking of an appointment, we will discontinue services and Client will still be responsible for the full grooming charge. If the pet should bite, the owner will be held responsible for any and all related medical bills, recovery costs, loss of income and equipment damage. Muzzles and professional restraints may be used if necessary. For the Groomer’s safety as well as your pets, Mutt Naked has the right to refuse service in the event of a pet that cannot be handled safely.

AGGRESSIVE OR DANGEROUS PETS: Owners must inform Mutt Naked if your pet has bitten, or is aggressive to people, other pets or specific grooming procedures. Muzzles may be used if necessary for grooming services. Muzzling will not harm your pet, and protects both the pet and the groomer. Mutt Naked reserves the right to refuse/stop Services for pets at any time before or during the Services if it is determined in Mutt Naked’s sole discretion that the pet(s) pose a danger to the health and safety of itself, other pets or other people. Mutt Naked reserves the right to charge a handling fee for aggressive pets in addition to the regular grooming charge. If the pet should bite, the owner agrees to be responsible for any and all related medical bills, recovery costs, loss of income and equipment damage. The owner authorizes Mutt Naked to use all means reasonably necessary, in Company’s sole discretion, to keep the owner’s pet(s) safe and healthy while providing the Services.
HEALTH AND AGING ISSUES:
Grooming procedures can sometimes be stressful, especially for a senior pet or a pet with health issues. Because these pets have a greater chance of injury, they will be groomed for cleanliness and comfort, in styles that will not add to their stress. Should the pet appear over stressed during the groom, the grooming session will be discontinued until a later date. We may recommend that the pet’s grooming regime take place in 2 sessions. There will be an added fee for such a plan.
FLEA/TICK INFESTATION / SALON SANITATION:
The owner is responsible for keeping their pet flea and tick free. If a flea or tick is found on your pet, Mutt Naked may end the groom if it is a major infestation or Mutt Naked may administer a flea/tick treatment on the pet at the owners expense. If the pet cannot be completed a trip charge of 100% of total cost may occur. If it is not deemed an infestation the client will be charged with a $50 flea fee in addition to the service costs.
PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS:
Occasionally, grooming can expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current one. This can occur during or after grooming and may require immediate medical attention. In the best interest of your pet, Client designates Mutt Naked, as agent and understands that if Mutt Naked is unable to contact Client first, then Mutt Naked, in its sole discretion, may engage the services of a veterinarian at Clients expense.
PICTURES:
Client consents that Mutt Naked may take pictures of your pet, before and after grooming, and utilize the same for their website, social media for any and all advertising purposes at Mutt Naked discretion. 

ADDITIONAL TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Mutt Naked employs extensive safety precautions to ensure your pets safety and health. Despite reasonable and prudent efforts, on rare occasions a pet may experience side effects of the grooming process, including but not limited to: razor burn, exposure of the quick, any reactions to treatments and products, hair splinters, and sharp nails (after clipping). By signing this agreement, you (the client) agree to relieve Mutt Naked, and its agents from any and all liabilities, and/or costs associated with any veterinary care, symptoms or discomfort of your pet related to or presenting after services rendered by Mutt Naked.The pursuit of any veterinary, behavioral, or rehabilitation services, and the payment thereof, is the sole responsibility of the pet owner. Additionally, you agree to relieve Mutt Naked and its agents from any and all liability associated with damages to person, pet, or property by or relating to services rendered or service equipment used by Mutt Naked and its agents. Mutt Naked reserves the right to refuse services. If we feel that the safety, wellbeing, or general respect of an animal or staff member are in jeopardy, we reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services. This includes the health, condition, stress-level, and behavior of any pet within our care. We also will not perform services that are potentially harmful to an animal (for example shaving the undercoat of double coated breeds). This also includes if a client has an issue with: not following our directions, rules and policies, lack of following our recommended grooming routine, failure to seek veterinary treatment when recommended, not updating vaccines, chronic lateness or multiple cancelations to appointments, not paying for services upon completion at pick-up, issues relating to pet owner humans with mental health or substance abuse issues, or general rudeness to the staff. All prices are subject to groomer/salon discretion, may vary from each visit  and quoted rates are the starting price. Mutt Naked reserves the right to take pictures of your pet(s) to reproduce for our records and media. By utilizing Mutt Naked services, you are indicating that you have read, understood, and are giving consent to all of Mutt Naked policies, terms and conditions for mobile services (subject to change).
Client affirms they are the rightful legal owner, or care giver to the pet for which services are rendered.
I, the undersigned, understand and agree to the above terms for the grooming and maintenance of my pet(s). In consideration of the grooming services, I agree to hold Mutt Naked harmless from any and all damage, loss, or claims to pet, personal or real property.
I acknowledge that thee interpretation of this provision is to be read in the broadest since possible and encompasses any real or proceeded negligence and all acts performed reasonable within the scope of service by Mutt Naked, its agents, its employees or representatives. The terms, special services or handling shall include but are not limited to emergency veterinarian services in the event I am not available. 
I authorize Mutt Naked and/or agent thereof to act as my agent in the event emergency veterinarian services, boarding, care-taking, and/or transportation is necessary and agrees to pay all costs. Any/all damages, loss or claim shall include, but not be limited to death, injury, or shock. Said pre-existing conditions shall include, but not be limited to advanced age, extreme nervousness, neurosis, illness, previous injury, skin or coat conditions, or medical conditions.

 I affirm that I am the rightful legal owner of the dog(s) for which services are being rendered. I authorize this contract to be valid approval for future grooming services, permitting us to accept telephone reservations for service without additional signed contracts or written authorization. I understand that pricing is subject to change. This agreement is valid for all pets that I currently own or will own in the future. I have read, and agreed to the above. I understand that proceeding beyond this point constitutes a legal signature confirming that I acknowledge and agree to the above Terms of Acceptance.

Venus is wonderful.  My furbabies love her. ❤️   At first they weren't sure but now when she comes to the door they are excited to see her. They might not like the dremel at times, but they know she loves them
