Since having a regular massage with Kim a year ago, my upper back, neck & shoulders are so much more comfortable and less niggly even with a job which keeps me at a computer or behind the wheel. Kim is so knowledgeable and skilled and a pleasure to visit, highly recommend!

Trigger Point Therapy/Deep Tissue Massage

Trigger Point Therapy/Deep Tissue Massage

If you're suffering with pain, restricted movement, frequent headaches or generally feel like you're carrying a lot of tension, then trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage is for you. Trigger points are hypersensitive areas in the muscle fibres, often caused by bad posture, over use or injury. This causes a 'knot' of built up damaged tissue. They can be painful and also cause referred pain if the trigger point is pressing on nerves. During your consultation we will discuss where you are feeling pain, assess any loss of movement and talk about referred pain. The massage is then tailored to you. Many clients have seen a considerable reduction in pain and improved movement/flexibility. And just like with any massage, it is a great stress reliever.
