Policy and Terms
JH Carpets Limited – Booking Terms & Conditions By making a booking with JH Carpets Limited, you agree to the following terms: Bookings & Deposits Where a deposit is required, your appointment is not confirmed until the deposit has been received. Deposits are non-refundable and will be deducted from the final balance. Cancellations & Rescheduling Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to change your appointment. Deposits may be transferred to one alternative appointment where sufficient notice is given. Further changes or cancellations may result in the deposit being lost and a new deposit being required. Access & Parking Customers are responsible for ensuring we have suitable access to the property and reasonable access to parking. Any unavoidable parking charges may be added to the final bill. Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning We will always aim to achieve the best possible cleaning result; however, complete stain removal cannot be guaranteed. Some permanent staining, discolouration, wear, fibre damage, bleaching or pre-existing damage may remain after cleaning. Customers should inform us of any known previous treatments, spillages, pet urine, bodily fluids, dyes or other contamination before cleaning begins. Oven Cleaning & Repairs Customers should inform us of any known faults or existing damage before work begins. We are not responsible for faults or damage that were already present or become apparent during normal cleaning or inspection. Where repairs are carried out, additional parts and labour charges will be agreed with the customer where applicable. Moving Furniture & Personal Items Please remove small, fragile and valuable items from areas being cleaned. Heavy furniture will only be moved where it is safe and practical to do so. Quotes & Additional Work Prices are based on the information provided when booking. If the size, condition or work required is substantially different when we arrive, we will discuss any additional charge before carrying out the additional work. Payment Unless otherwise agreed, the remaining balance is payable on completion of the service. Liability JH Carpets Limited will take reasonable care while carrying out all work. We cannot accept responsibility for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, defects, unstable fittings or damage caused by previous cleaning, repairs or treatments. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights or protections that customers have under applicable UK consumer law.
