Policy and Terms
Booking & Cancellation Policy We understand that plans can change. To help us manage our appointments fairly and protect the time of our clinicians and practitioners, please read our booking policy carefully. Cancellations and Rescheduling We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment. Appointments changed or cancelled more than 48 hours before the scheduled start time may be transferred to another available date and time. Cancellations or requests to rearrange made within 48 hours of the appointment will be charged at 100% of the appointment fee. Any deposit or advance payment will be retained and any outstanding balance will become payable. Late Arrivals Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive late, your appointment may need to be shortened to avoid affecting the next client. Whether the appointment can continue will be at the clinician or practitioner’s discretion. If there is insufficient time to safely or appropriately provide the service, the appointment may be cancelled and the full appointment fee will remain payable. Missed Appointments Failure to attend an appointment without notice will be treated as a late cancellation, and 100% of the appointment fee will be charged. Future bookings may require full payment in advance. Illness and Exceptional Circumstances We understand that genuine emergencies and unexpected circumstances can happen. These will be considered individually and at the discretion of House of Healing. Where possible, please contact us as soon as you know you may be unable to attend. If We Need to Cancel In the unlikely event that House of Healing or your clinician needs to cancel your appointment, we will offer you an alternative date and time. If a suitable alternative cannot be arranged, any payment made for that appointment will be refunded or credited to your account. How to Cancel or Rearrange Please cancel or rearrange your appointment through the booking system or by contacting us directly. Your cancellation is only confirmed once it has been successfully processed or acknowledged by our team. By making a booking, you confirm that you have read and agreed to this policy. New Client Reiki Session
This session is designed for new clients who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, reactive, or stuck in survival mode. We begin with a gentle check-in to understand what your body has been holding and how your nervous system has adapted. From there, you’ll receive a deeply calming Reiki-based treatment, supporting your body to shift out of stress and into a more regulated, settled state. This isn’t just about relaxation — it’s about helping your system feel safe again. Hypnotherapy - Initial Consultation (ONLINE)
(Cost will be deducted from any subsequent therapy bookings) This is where you start your hypnotherapy journey. In this session we will work through some questions about your current circumstances and symptoms and spend some time briefly exploring where you are now, and the areas of your life where hypnotherapy could help. We then go through a very simple explanation of the brain to help you understand yourself a little better right from this very first appointment. There will be opportunity to ask any questions you may have about hypnotherapy and you will leave with a free relaxation audio to use regardless of whether you commit to booking further sessions. It is advised that hypnotherapy is not suitable for you if you have psychosis, epilepsy or a personality disorder. Hypnotherapy is a complimentary therapy alongside your usual plan of care. We also advise you discuss any decision to undertake therapy with your GP and/or the person in charge of your care.

Hypnotherapy - Help to stop smoking or vaping - one off session (ONLINE)
This is a one off session that takes between 90 and 120 minutes. You do not need to book a separate initial consultation before this session. During this session we will do a comprehensive assessment to understand where you are now with the habit, your general wellbeing and uncover your motivation for change. We will spend some time talking about the impact of smoking for you and end with hypnosis, a state of focused attention, where you will feel deeply relaxed and receptive to powerful suggestions. You will come away with a better understanding of how your mind works in relation to smoking, as well as a free relaxation audio that can support the process beyond your session with me.
