Lessons are weather dependent. If there is inclement weather expected or the temps are too cold/hot we will reschedule for the student and horse’s safety

Heart Of The Horse

If a lesson is rescheduled or canceled more than 24 hours before the lesson time, no payment is due. If a lesson is rescheduled or canceled more than 12 hours in advance but less than 24 hours in advance, there is a 50% charge. If a lesson is canceled or rescheduled in less than 12 hours before the scheduled lesson time, full payment will be charged. 

Ashley is an amazing trainer! Very knowledgeable and great with kids! She started the lesson with a safety lesson on how to stop the horse and built from there while using my daughter’s strengths with what she already knew about riding. 

My sons appreciate Ashley’s patience and level of expertise as do I from a parent’s perspective! She teaches not only riding, but the basics of grooming and groundwork. The stable is a serene location to take riding lessons. 

Wonderful 1st session. Hands on grooming, saddle and bridle, with clear instructions and whys - not just do it this way. I look forward to my next lesson.

Ashley has an eye for details about the rider and the horse. She then offers advice on how to improve, using concrete solutions, examples and demonstration.  She stresses safety, and after assessing rider and horse, is able to balance comfort and challenge.  It's a pleasure taking lessons from her.

I’ve been taking lessons from Ashley for five months. She is so patient and positive during instruction.  She is really helping me improve and learn and work toward my riding goals. She also taught me a lot about horse behavior and how my horse thinks.  I look forward to learning a lot more from her!
