At Furever Laura based @ Klassie K9’s I’m committed to providing a safe, calm, and caring grooming experience for every dog in my care. These Terms & Conditions are in place to protect the welfare of your dog, ensure fairness for all clients, and clearly explain how my grooming service operates.

By booking an appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following policy. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to ask before your appointment — I’m always happy to help!

1. Bookings & Appointments
All grooming appointments must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
An appointment slot is reserved exclusively for your dog only.
I reserve the right to refuse any booking at my own discretion.

2. Deposits
A non-refundable deposit of £15 is required to secure all grooming appointments unless otherwise agreed.
The deposit will be:
	•	Deducted from the total cost of the groom on the day of the appointment; or
	•	Rolled over to the client’s next appointment, provided the original appointment is cancelled in line with Section 4.
Deposits are non-refundable in the event of:
	•	Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice
	•	Failure to attend an appointment (“no-show”)
	•	Late arrival that results in the appointment being cancelled or significantly reduced

Appointments are not confirmed until the deposit has been received. Failure to pay the deposit may result in the appointment being released.

 Any outstanding balances or cancellation fees must be settled before future appointments can be booked.

3. Cancellations & No-Shows
A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule all appointments.
Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged 100% of the grooming fee.
Failure to attend an appointment without notice will result in the full grooming fee being payable.
Cancellation fees must be paid prior to any future bookings.

4. Late Arrivals
Although I understand lateness can occur, clients arriving late may have their appointment shortened to avoid disruption to other bookings. If lateness prevents the groom from being completed, the appointment may be cancelled and charged in full.

5. Pricing & Payment
Prices are indicative and based on the dog’s size, breed, coat condition, temperament, and time required.
Additional charges may apply for:
	•	Severe matting
	•	Behavioural difficulties
	•	Excessive coat length or thickness
	•	Grooming taking significantly longer than expected

6. Coat Condition & Matting
Owners are responsible for maintaining their dog’s coat between grooming appointments.
Severely matted coats may require clipping for the dog’s comfort and welfare.
Under any circumstances I will not de-mat a dog where it may cause pain, distress, or injury.
*Additional fees may apply due to increased time and handling required.

7. Dog Behaviour & Welfare
All dogs in my care are groomed with my full attention, patience, and compassion.
Owners must disclose any history of aggression, anxiety, or behavioural issues at the time of booking.
If a dog becomes aggressive, excessively stressed, or unsafe to groom, I reserve the right to stop the groom immediately.
A partial or full grooming fee may still apply where time has been allocated or services commenced.

8. Health & Medical Conditions
Owners must inform me of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, skin conditions, parasites, or recent surgery prior to grooming.
I reserve the right to refuse grooming if a dog’s health condition poses a risk to the dog, myself or others.
Grooming of elderly dogs or dogs with pre-existing conditions is carried out at the owner’s risk.

9. Fleas & Parasites
Dogs must arrive free from fleas and other parasites.
If fleas are discovered during grooming:
	•	Treatment may be required and an additional fee may apply; or
	•	The groom may be stopped for health and safety reasons
Owners will be responsible for any additional cleaning or treatment costs incurred.

10. Accidents & Liability
Whilst every care is taken, grooming carries inherent risks, particularly with matted or difficult coats.
I am are not liable for:
	•	Pre-existing or age-related conditions
	•	Stress-related reactions
Any injury caused by a dog to myself, equipment, or other animals remains the responsibility of the owner.

11. Photographs & Marketing
Photographs may be taken before, during, or after grooming for records or marketing purposes.
Clients may opt out by informing me.

12. Right to Refuse Service
I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services at any time for reasons including safety, welfare, or non-compliance with these Terms & Conditions.

13. Data Protection
Client data is stored securely and used solely for business purposes in accordance with UK data protection laws.

14. Acceptance of Terms
By booking an appointment with me, Furever Laura @ Klassie K9’s, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms & Conditions may be amended at any time.

Laura is absolutely fantastic! She is so caring, gentle, and patient with Willow, and it’s obvious how much she genuinely loves the dogs she looks after. Willow always comes home looking absolutely gorgeous, smelling amazing, and most importantly, happy and relaxed.

Lovely experience, I contacted Laura to book our anxious Springer in. Laura checked before it there were any important things she needed to know first and actually a few weeks ago, Bella had been treated for fleas and had a very dry and sore reaction. Laura ensured she was treated with the right soothing shampoo and trimmed short enough but not exposing scabs. Bella is normally very anxious but came out happy, looking great and smelling lovely, she was very excited about herself. Great service 

Fabulous as always.  Laura picked up on a couple of tiny cysts she wasn’t sure if I knew about and  pointed them out.    She is so caring and genuinely loves each dog she has in her care.     I wouldn’t trust anyone else.

2 very nervous dogs have had their nails trimmed.   My boy has had his monthly bath and trim.      Wouldn’t trust our dogs with anyone else!!  Laura already does 5 of our dogs!!  So professional but done with love treated them as her own 🥰🥰
