Grooming Terms & Conditions Coat Condition & Pricing * • All prices are “from” and based on dogs with coats in good condition. • Size, coat condition, and behaviour may affect the final cost. • Matted or pelted coats that require extra grooming time will incur an additional charge of £5 per extra 15 minutes. • If a coat is too matted to de-matt safely, it will be clipped short in line with the Animal Welfare Act 2006. I will contact you before proceeding. The coat will grow back. Cancellations & Missed Appointments ** • Changes require at least 3 days’ notice. • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will be charged 50% of the grooming cost. • No-shows may be charged in full and may require a deposit for future bookings. Health & Vaccinations *** • Please ensure your dog is fit and healthy for grooming. Grooming of sick or elderly dogs is at the owner’s risk, and the groom may be stopped if the dog becomes distressed. The full groom price will still apply. • Grooming may reveal existing health or skin issues. I cannot diagnose conditions—please consult your vet. • Dogs should be fully vaccinated and kept up to date. This is the owner’s responsibility. • A vaccination card must be shown at the first appointment. Injury & Insurance **** • If an injury occurs to the dog during grooming, it will be covered under pet insurance. • Insurance does not cover human injury. • If a vet is required, costs are the owner’s responsibility unless a vet report confirms groomer liability. Payments & Timekeeping ***** • Payment is due upon collection. • Owners must arrive on time. However arriving 25+ minutes late may result in cancellation and a fee ( No-Show in second section ). • Dogs must be collected at the agreed time. 20+ minutes late will incur a £15 sitting fee, plus £5 per additional 10 minutes. Behaviour & Safety ****** • Aggressive or highly anxious dogs may be refused for safety reasons. • Sedated dogs will not be accepted and should be groomed under veterinary care.
