Everlong by Emma – Terms & Conditions By booking an appointment with Everlong by Emma (Emma Payne), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms: Hair Extensions & Hair Loss • All hair extension services are carried out with professional skill, care, and industry-approved methods. • Everlong by Emma / Emma Payne will not be held liable for any hair loss, thinning, breakage, matting, shedding, or scalp issues that may occur during or after wearing hair extensions. • Hair loss or damage can result from factors including, but not limited to: incorrect aftercare, poor maintenance, excessive tension, existing hair/scalp conditions, medical conditions, medication, lifestyle factors, or failure to attend recommended maintenance appointments. • Responsibility for the condition of the natural hair and extensions transfers to the client once the service has been completed. Aftercare & Maintenance • Correct aftercare must be followed at all times. Aftercare advice will be provided verbally and/or in writing. • Failure to follow aftercare guidance, attend maintenance appointments, or protect the hair correctly (including sleeping, brushing, heat use, swimming, or chemical exposure) voids any responsibility on the part of Everlong by Emma. Colouring & Chemical Services • All colouring and chemical services are carried out based on information provided by the client. • Everlong by Emma / Emma Payne accepts no liability for adverse reactions, hair damage, or unsatisfactory results where full and accurate hair history has not been disclosed. Patch Tests • Patch tests are offered and strongly recommended where required. • If a client chooses to decline or fails to attend a patch test, Everlong by Emma / Emma Payne accepts no responsibility or liability for allergic reactions, sensitivity, or adverse effects resulting from the service. Client Responsibility • It is the client’s responsibility to disclose all relevant medical conditions, medications, scalp issues, previous chemical history, and lifestyle factors prior to treatment. • Everlong by Emma cannot be held liable for issues arising from undisclosed or inaccurate information. Concerns & Liability • Any concerns must be raised within 48 hours of the appointment. Issues reported after this time will be considered the result of aftercare, maintenance, or external factors. • Everlong by Emma / Emma Payne will not be liable for indirect, consequential, or ongoing damage following the appointment. Acceptance of Terms • By booking and/or attending an appointment, the client accepts full responsibility for ongoing care and confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. Clients must disclose all relevant information, including but not limited to: medical conditions, medications, hormonal changes, lifestyle factors, hair history, previous chemical services, and home haircare products. • Everlong by Emma cannot be held liable for issues arising from undisclosed, inaccurate, or withheld information. ⸻ Hair Extensions & Hair Loss • Hair extension services are carried out professionally and with due care using industry-approved methods. • Everlong by Emma / Emma Payne will not be held liable for hair loss, thinning, breakage, matting, shedding, scalp issues, or changes in hair condition, which may occur during or after wearing extensions. • Hair loss or damage may result from factors including (but not limited to): fine or fragile hair, previous bleach or chemical services, medical or hormonal changes, medication (including GLP-1 medications), lifestyle, friction, heat, poor maintenance, or incorrect aftercare. • Responsibility for the condition of the natural hair and extensions transfers to the client once the service is completed. ⸻ Aftercare (Verbal & Written) • Verbal aftercare advice is provided at every appointment and may also be provided in writing or via message. • By proceeding with the service, the client confirms that aftercare advice has been explained and understood. • Everlong by Emma is not responsible for damage or issues resulting from failure to follow aftercare guidance, including brushing, heat use, sleeping habits, product choice, or maintenance schedules. ⸻ Maintenance & Wear Time • Clients must attend recommended maintenance appointments within the advised timeframe. • Wearing extensions beyond the recommended period, delaying maintenance, or declining advised breaks may result in damage, for which Everlong by Emma will not be held liable. • Everlong by Emma reserves the right to reduce density, recommend breaks, or refuse continuation of extension services where hair health may be compromised. ⸻ Colouring & Chemical Services • Colour and chemical services are carried out based on information provided by the client. • Everlong by Emma is not responsible for adverse reactions, damage, or unsatisfactory results where hair history is incomplete, inaccurate, or where services have been carried out by another salon. • Extensions and natural hair may respond differently to colour; exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed. ⸻ Patch Tests • Patch tests are offered and strongly recommended where required. • If a client declines or fails to attend a patch test, Everlong by Emma accepts no liability for allergic reactions, sensitivities, or adverse effects. ⸻ Home Care & Product Use • The client is responsible for using extension-friendly, suitable products. • Everlong by Emma is not liable for damage caused by unsuitable home care, including drying/fast-dry sprays, excessive heat, alcohol-based products, or lack of protection. • Clarifying products should only be used occasionally, as advised. ⸻ Photos & Records • Before, during, and after photographs may be taken for professional records and client protection. • These images will be stored securely and used only for documentation unless consent is given otherwise. ⸻ Concerns & Timeframes • Any concerns must be raised within 48 hours of the appointment. • Issues reported after this period will be considered the result of aftercare, maintenance, or external factors. ⸻ Professional Discretion • Everlong by Emma reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services where hair condition, client behaviour, or non-compliance with advice presents a risk to hair health or professional standards.
