ON ARRIVAL & PICK-UP At the time of drop-off, we will provide an approximate pick-up time. Once grooming is complete, we will send you a text message. Please collect your pet as soon as possible — they can’t wait to see you! The grooming process usually takes around 3 hours. We never rush dogs through grooming procedures. Please note that some dogs may need to stay longer than originally estimated due to coat condition, behaviour, or unexpected scheduling delays. For safety reasons, all dogs must be on a lead when handed to the groomer. CONFIRMATION, RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATION Online Booking - You will receive an automatic reminder message two days in advance. If you want to cancel or reschedule an appointment please text this number 0466 848 855. Thank you Phone Bookings & Walk-Ins You will receive a text reminder 48 hours prior to your appointment. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please notify us as soon as possible. We require 48 hours’ notice. A $100 cancellation fee is required to rebook if this notice is not given. SAME-DAY CANCELLATION, NO-SHOW & LATE ARRIVAL COZY PET STUDIO requires all cancellations or rescheduling to be made at least 48 hours in advance. As a small salon, missed appointments directly affect us. We groom a very limited number of dogs per day, and same-day cancellations do not allow enough time to refill or reorganise our schedule. Cancellations within 48 hours require payment of the full appointment amount to rebook or to keep any existing future bookings * No-shows will not be offered future appointments * Please contact us if you believe you may be running late. Appointments may be cancelled if you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, and cancellation fees will apply. CONSIDERATION To help maintain a clean and sanitary environment, please walk your dog prior to arrival so they can relieve themselves. VACCINATIONS All dogs must be up to date with vaccinations and deworming. Records may be requested at the time of booking. FLEAS & TICKS All dogs must be on regular flea treatment. Please inform us before arrival if your dog may have fleas, as this requires them to be carried directly into the bath. Dogs found with fleas will require a mandatory flea wash at an additional cost. Additional charges may apply for equipment sanitation to prevent the spread. Flea & tick shampoo: $40 DANGEROUS OR AGGRESSIVE DOGS – REFUSAL OF SERVICE It is the owner’s responsibility to inform us if their dog may be aggressive toward people or other dogs. If a dog becomes overly stressed or unsafe to groom, COZY PET STUDIO reserves the right to refuse, stop, or cancel grooming services at any time. Charges will apply for work completed up to that point. MATTED OR KNOTTED COATS Dogs with severely matted coats require extra care. COZY PET STUDIO will not cause unnecessary stress by attempting excessive de-matting. In some cases, shaving may be required for the dog’s comfort and safety. Removing heavy matting may result in: Nicks, cuts, or abrasions Redness, itchiness, or self-inflicted irritation Exposure of pre-existing skin conditions Delayed or incomplete coat regrowth If shaving is required, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Additional charges apply for heavily matted coats. Please note that ear hematomas may occur after shaving due to excessive head shaking, scratching, or broken blood vessels within the ear flap.
