About

Booking rules đŸ”„âœš 1. Make a request for the time slot you’d like. 2. Pricing is my hourly charge! 3. That doesn’t always mean that’s what your tattoo will cost, or the time it will take. We can adjust and make changes as needed. 4. Leave a description of the tattoo in the area that says “notes.” 5. Message me through Instagram (@bigbad_kenn) or text (915-491-3286) right after you’ve sent in a request, with all the details of the tattoo. (If you message through Instagram please make sure to leave your screen name and real name so I can make sure I have the right client.) 6. I will contact you and verify your appt and we will talk about a deposit and any smaller details after I receive your request! (this is to help me stay on top on booking and keeping my serious clients in the loop) - DEPOSITS - Most appointments and new clients require a deposit before I accept your time slot Or design your tattoo. I DO NOT WORK FOR FREE. Deposits currently run $50+ and comes off the price of the first tattoo session, however deposits can be made in shop OR through the shops Cashapp. ( $worldwidegeorge ) If you choose to use cashapp, just ask and I’ll send it to you. When you send it in please leave my name so the shop knows it’s for me. We will hopefully transition into make deposits on here to make life a little easier. - If you need to reschedule, your deposit is safe. - Deposits are non-refundable. Shop policy. - If you are a no-call no-show, you forfeit your deposit for that session. - If you are unhappy about the design, you don’t get your deposit back. I took time and effort to design something for you. Don’t belittle what I’ve done. Don’t ask for me to design something without a deposit or a scheduled day. I don’t design in my free time. I do have family and a social life, and would like to get paid for my work. And I’m constantly designing for people who are serious, they make a request, leave a deposit, and show up for the appointments. - RESCHEDULING - Never a problem, life happens and most of my clients have children or family members that need attentive care. Notifying me 24 hours in advance is appreciated, and most of the time I will find someone to fill in that spot fairly quickly. - NO-CALL NO-SHOWS - At 20 minutes your appointment will be cancelled and I will attempt to move my next appointment sooner, take in a walk-in, or find someone else available for the spot. When tattooing I use TRIPLE BLACK INK. It’s a darker healing black and stays saturated longer. It doesn’t fade into a blue or green tint like older inks do and gets used every time for cover ups, to really help hide the older tattoo. TOUCH UPS - I no longer do FREE touch sessions. If you’re needing a touch up on work that I’ve done it’s a minimum of $50, if a tattoo needs to be completely Reworked or will take over an hour it may cost extra. However if you are scheduling an appointment to get a NEW tattoo, and during that session you want any old work that I’ve done touched up, I will not charge you for it. AFTERCARE - Wash & moisturize!! Before you go to sleep the night of your tattoo session, wash your tattoo with antibacterial soap. Moisturize the tattoo. And re-wrap the tattoo with saran wrap. The bed is usually the most common place for tattoo infections, and as long as your tattoo is still bleeding it’s still considered an open wound. When washing the tattoo make sure to use unscented antibacterial soap and to scrub off any dry blood, plasma, sweat or any “goopy” substance. Even if the tattoo is tender and sore make sure you get it all off. This will cause scabs and when the scabs heal you will loose part of the tattoo. Scabs are not to be confused with the peeling process. When moisturizing your tattoo make sure to use an unscented moisturizer safe with your skin. If you have any skin condition talk to your artist before you apply anything. Drier climates will usually need a stronger moisturizer for the healing process. If your tattoo is too dry it will crack and hurt and heal poorly. If you over moisturize your tattoo using too much lotion or aquaphor or soaking it in water , it will bubble like a blister and you will lose part of the tattoo. - PEELING PROCESS - When the tattoo is in its final stages of healing the new skin will start to grow over and the old skin will start to fall off. The stage is crucial because this is what’s going to stay in your skin. As the skin flakes off don’t peel, it don’t pull it, off don’t mess with it! You can easily rip out so of the ink which hurts, and takes even longer to heal. Just leave it alone and let it fall off on its own, continue to wash and moisturizer as usual. Feel free to switch to a lighter moisturizer. During this time the tattoo is going to itch, it’s going to itch a lot. Don’t scratch it! If it gets real itchy moisturize it a little more. Once all the skin is done flaking off the tattoo should be completely finished healing. Sometimes this process takes a little longer for people and sometimes it’s really quick. Everybody’s different when it comes to this process so be patient and don’t get lazy. this is going to be on your body Forever. - Icing the tattoo is fine and highly recommended after you rewrap the tattoo before bed. - Washing the tattooing the shower is fine, as long as you don’t soak it. 30-45 seconds under direct water. No more. - I personally prefer foaming dial antibacterial soap when cleaning and unscented lotion when moisturizing (very thing layers, almost like you’re tying to rub it all into the skin) -Going to the gym is fine after the 2nd day, but make sure to wash and moisturize before and after going. Sweat can be an irritant. Tattoo after care is not complicated. Tattoo aftercare is also YOUR responsibility, I am not held accountable or liable for how the tattoo heals after you leave the shop. It is on you, if you need to reach out with questions or concerns that’s totally fine and I encourge it! However if you’re lazy or don’t follow the aftercare that I recommend for my work then that’s on you. If you happen to have an aftercare technique that works better for you that’s fine but check with me before you decide to follow that route. Address: 11335 Montwood El Paso Texas 79936
