Policy and Terms
Barkalious Grooming & Boarding Policies Evening Appointments: Please note that only bath services are available after 3:30 PM. Deposits & Rescheduling: Deposits are non-refundable. You may reschedule without penalty up to 48 hours in advance using your booking link to transfer your deposit. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice or no-shows forfeit the deposit. No-Show & Late Cancellation: Cancellations on the day of service or no-shows will be charged 100% of the reserved service fee. All outstanding fees must be settled prior to rebooking. Late Arrival & Late Pickup: Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in a $15 fee (+$5 per additional pet) or cancellation under our no-show policy at the groomer’s discretion. Pickups past our stated end-of-day time incur a daycare fee of $15 per half-hour (+$5 per additional pet). Health, Emergencies & Allergic Reactions: Grooming can uncover underlying medical conditions or cause unexpected reactions. In an emergency, Barkalious is authorized to seek immediate veterinary care. Owners assume financial responsibility for medical/vet expenses resulting from pre-existing conditions, unexpected reactions (please report within 24 hours), or grooming accidents. Matted Pups (Humanity Over Vanity): Severe matting restricts blood flow, traps moisture, and causes pain. We prioritize your pet's comfort and will humanely shave severely matted coats rather than subject them to stressful de-matting. Additional fees apply due to equipment wear and extended handling. Media Release: Photos taken during grooming remain the property of Barkalious and may be used for client records, our website, and social media.
