Ayana Thomas is a compassionate grief counselor, community leader, and founder of  Ayana Thomas Initiative LLC and Grieving Back to Life. With a deep commitment to helping women especially Black and Brown women impacted by trauma, incarceration, and loss Ayana creates healing spaces rooted in resilience, restoration, and radical honesty. Drawing from her education and own lived experiences with grief, trauma, Ayana offers trauma-informed coaching, reentry support, court mandated grief counseling and transformative group workshops that honor both pain and possibility.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Clients may cancel or reschedule appointments up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

Deposits are non-refundable.

Rescheduling is allowed one time only and must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.

If the appointment is missed or canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, the deposit will be forfeited.
